TUESDAY TAILS

I'M HUNGRY AND ABOUT THE ONLY WAY I CAN GET ATTENTION IS TO SHOW MY 'TAIL'
OR STICK MY HEAD IN A CUP OF 'CONSTANT COMMENT'
HOT TEA
OR THREATEN TO KNOCK IT OFF THE DESK
OR...WHAT IS THIS MOM, MADI IS EASILY DISTRACTED,
DO YOU NEED MY HELP PROOFREADING.  YOU KNOW I CAN READ UPSIDE DOWN RIGHT?
Purr request:  Our new friend Eddie the kitty is not feeling well,
he had a rough start to his life but has found a furever home.
Please send some purrs that his Vet can fix his little innards.  Please click on Eddie above to see this handsome kitty!!

  1. BOL! I am very familiar with the stick my head in a cup and knock cups off the table routine. Rosie is a master at both. She especially likes to knock things off the dresser at about 5:00 a.m.

    Your pal, Pip

P.S.: I will visit Eddie now.

  2. P.S.: Madi, I am not sure this is the right link? I popped over and there was no mention of Eddie. I will keep him in my thoughts.

  3. Good gravies, you is like really late withs your post dear...thought da world came to an end fur a second.
Madi, I am purty easily distracted myself but, NOT whaen it comes to feedng time. I suggest a timer or bell at meal times. I would suggest a ferocious bark but seeing as dat you is a kitteh...well, I just don't see it happenin'.

  4. I must respectfully disagree with my good friend Puddles. Our Simone can give a pretty ferocious yowl if she feels dinner is late. Even peace loving Happy can set up quite an intense meow in aid of alerting us to an empty food dish. You can do it Madi, I know you can.

    lotsa licks, Lola

  5. Hi Madi! I am with you in your efforts to deal with these humans. I can be pretty hard to ignore at times as well. EVERYONE in the house knows when *gasp* I can see the bottom of my food bowl! Or when my water is not quite cold enough. Maybe they will learn someday!

    Dignified Purrs,

  9. I will send many purrs Eddie's way, and ask my four to do the same.

Do you ever try sitting on the mouse, Madi? That's what Rachael does when I am not paying enough attention to her wants and needs. Plop! right on top of my hand, and the mouse.

  10. You are a "show stopper" when it comes to getting attention, Madi! MOL and BOL

I liked the ?-mark tail behind the 'puter screen, as if to say:
    is anybody hungry besides me????
    Who cares?!
I'm hungry and that's all that counts!

  11. The prayers seem to be working (but then, don't they always!)!!! Where last week we were told Eddie would probably need surgery (to remove part of his intestines) this week we have been told to "wait and see!" The consensus is now that it is a neurological disorder caused from his initial injury. Since bringing him home from the vet (his inners were cleaned out last night) he has had two normal BM! This is a little cat who had been vomiting from trying so hard unsuccessfully over the holiday weekend. At this very moment he is sleeping on a cushion right by my mouse pad! Praise God is all I can say! And please everyone join me in praying that he has normal bowel movements from now on. He is such a sweet little cat. I'll post a current picture of him on my blog right now! Thank you Madi and Mom for all your support and prayers...and thanks to all Madi's friends too!
    Blessings!
    Ann (and Eddie!)
PS Kind of ironic that today is "Tuesday Tails!" My little tail-less guy is certainly missing his! (Hummm...Think I'll look for a stuffed animal in the form of a long snake...maybe he'll sleep with it and feel better about his tail-less state...)

  13. Hi Madi! Sometimes it takes a lot to get through to our dense humans. Nicki is forever doing stuff to get the mom's attention. We hope you didn't have to wait long to get fed!

We'll go to Eddie's blog and leave our purrs!

  14. We have left our purrs for Eddie. We see from the comment that he is doing better today. We hope he continues to improve.
We were very late with our post today as well because mum has no new photos left of us. She followed us around all morning just to try and get something for today.

Madi! I love Constant Comment too! (Or is it constant commenting that I like? I can't remember.

  19. I think I would be a bit worried if a tail appeared behind the PC like that. I'd get an over powering urge to pull it ;0
I do know Edward and have been over with the power of the paw.

  21. That is funny. Ozabella uses her tail to tell us what's up! It shakes like a rattlesnake when she gets upset....just like Keisha used too.... Edward is in our thoughts and prayers....

  23. Heehee...at first I thoughts your computer had grown a tail! You are very good at using your kitteh ways to get your mom's attention. I always learn so much from you, Madi. But I don't think my mom could see my little nubbing tail above the computer screen.

My paws are crossed for your furend Eddie. We'll go give them our best brindle vibes.

  24. Haha Madi I like to knock things over just to see my Mom run. You asked about the other pets my Mom owns, well she has her own blog where she gets to talk about them. They are all family pets but since I belong only to Mom and maybe to Grandma now that I have lived with her so long. My paws are crossed!

  33. Hi Madi & Mom,

That is too funny, Cindi Lou has some of the exact same moves when she wants attention. She has never knocked over a cup but come close more than once.

We visited Edward and he is so sweet. We really hope he gets well soon.

    Hugs & Purrs,
    J and Cindi Lou
