DOUBLE WOW WEDNESDAY

Mom and Dad abandoned me yesterday

They went to Lake Raleigh to see

Some very beautiful fall colors....and a bonus sighting..

A CLOSE UP VISIT WITH A MR. GREAT BLUE HERON.  MR. HERON WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS MORNING YOGA ROUTINE OF BALANCING ON ONE LEG

THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN HE GREW TIRED OF AN AUDIENCE AND TOOK OFF ACROSS THE LAKE.  MOM SAID HIS WING SPAN WAS QUITE IMPRESSIVE.  IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY, YOU'LL SEE HIS SHADOW REFLECTING IN THE WATER

DAD TOLD MOM WAS PRETTY DARN EXCITED WHEN SHE SAW MR. HERON...AND YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY HAPPY WIFE, HAPPY LIFE!!
MOM HAS MORE COLORFUL PICTURES...DON'T WORRY I'M SURE SHE'LL BE EAGER TO SHARE THEM WITH YOU.
***********************
PS...WHILE MOM AND DAD WERE OUT YESTERDAY,THEY WENT BY THE FARMER'S MARKET. MOM BOUGHT 9 POUNDS OF COLLARDS.  SHE SPENT YESTERDAY AFTERNOON CLEANING AND COOKING THEM.  NOW THEY ARE IN THE FREEZER WAITING  TO BE CONSUMED ON THANKSGIVING.   IF SHE MISSED STOPPING BY TO SEE YOU YESTERDAY, SHE'LL CATCH UP TODAY.
