SATURDAY PHOTO HUNT: FLASH

Today we are participating in the fun meme Saturday Photo Hunt.
Click here if you'd like to see the list of words
Today's word is:
FLASH:
definitions: brief light, instant, news dispatch, gleam suddenly
We had to put on our thinking hats for this photo hunt.
We decided we'd use the definition:  instant or news dispatch

Recently, I was resting comfortably upstairs on one of my many beds, when suddenly I was awakened by a rumble from below.
Using my inside voice I meowed to Mom 'what in the world
is that noise?'

Mom told me it was the street cleaner.
OMC/OMD
Here I thought I lived on a clean street
But in a
FLASH
I discovered I did not!!!
Yet another reason not to venture out into the great out of doors
Sincerely,
Madi

  3. Those things sure make a lot of noise. I'm glad you are an indoor kitty because you wouldn't want to get "swept" up by that machine.

  4. Those street cleaner thingys are so noisy, they rumble through our neighborhood too. Sometimes they make so much noise even we become inside kitties for awhile. Our mama likes it when we come inside. Miss Madi, you are so polite to use your inside voice even when disturbed from your nap.

  7. Very creative, Madi, well done! Our mom's not clever enough to participate in the Saturday photo hunt. LOL.

We get a street cleaner in our complex maybe a couple of times a year. That truck makes A LOT of noise, very scary indeed!

  8. So lemme get this straight... down in your neck of the woods a truck comes by and sweeps around your house??? How much would it cost for them to come IN your house and sweep up, cause the dogs don't let me do it often cause they hate the noise.... perhaps I could get a once a month zip through and all that dog hair will be gone!!! :D

  11. Great use of the word Flash, and Oh my COD, who knew that you lived on a dirty street. Glad they got it all clean for ya. We live a long ways from our street so we don't have to worry whether it is clean or dirty. Hope all of you have a most wonderful day.

  14. As noisy as they are,Madi, it's nice to know one city is thinking about
    keeping it's streets clean still!

  16. Great take on the word Flash, Madi. Is that street cleaner like our purple evil machine that cleans all our furs off the carpet?

Enjoy your weekend and stay cool:)

  17. I don't blame you for not liking that icky old truck. I don't like them either (well, excpet when they hauled off all of the garbage from Becky's party)!

  18. Outdoors is really not all it's cracked up to be. Inside (with air conditioning!) is sooooo much better.

  19. Oh, Madi, my LLS, your street is beautiful! So that is the secret for keeping it that way.

  21. Haaa!
Well... maybe that is the reason your street is clean!
But that "flash" sure was scary!
