Whisker Humps on Hump Day

Mom thinks my whisker humps are so soft.
She likes to rub them but sometimes she just gets carried away and I have to give my 'that is enough stare'!!
Happy whisker Hump Day

We had an unexpected visitor on Sunday....
In case you cannot see the picture is is a Gray Fox...Mom has tried everything she knows how to do to get it to load.  When she sends it as an attachment to an email it is fine but what we see here is just horizontal colored stripes. If you click on the picture, it will appear.  Anyway the Gray Fox is native to NC.  Mom has  had several sightings over the last 2 weeks; however, Sunday it nearly came up on the porch to say hi.  According to what we read
it can climb a tree too.  Mom said it jumped over the neighbors fence just like a cat.  MOL
On Sunday it was chasing birds in our yard.  Mom expects it has some pups in the woods behind our neighbor's house.

  2. The fox picture appears just fine for me. Sometimes moms can't help themselves and just want to touch their favorite parts of their fur babies. I like to stroke Nina's silky ears.

  3. Madi, I am very good at that "that is enough stare" also. We have to use it for our sanity. I can see the picture of the fox and it looks like a very pretty fox. I have never seen one, so thanks.

  8. The piccy is fine without clicking this end! Ganny gets a lot of red foxes in her garden. We know she feeds them even though she doesn't admit it! You know I've never heard the phrase whisker humps before, but I know exactly what you mean. KC has ridiculously long whiskers for a small cat! Deccy x

  9. The photo looks good but I still clicked to see the larger version. We are amazed at the amount of wildlife in your yard. Maybe mama will bring the pups for a visit when they get older.

You have beautiful whiskers Madi and we can tell those bumps are very soft. When mama rubs my whisker bumps sometimes she gets a stare and maybe a little warning grrr.

  20. We have a gray fox that comes to the house next door. It hasn't been close enough to get a picture of it. We used to have red foxes when we lived in Charleston and they had baby kids. That was fun. The picture is terrific. Have yourselves a super day.

  33. Goodness sake Madi, you look a lot like Cleo except she does not have a freckle on her nose like you. That makes you look unique.

I know I'm getting late at getting my responses out but I want to thank you very much for your purrs and hugs on the passing of Casper. It was very much appreciated. Thank you again.
