Stick a fork in US we're

DONE

After a lot of whining and complaining discussion, Mom and
Dad decided to use the mammoth (7.5') Christmas tree one more year. Even after they brought it in there was more whining and complaining discussion so I had to get them back on task!!
I bet you don't know why  I like my Christmas Tree......
because it comes in a box  woohoo
Once I was sure the whining and complaining discussion was over and the box was opened..my job was done.  When I was a wee
kitty, I got in the middle of everything but now
I find a comfy seat, turn my lasers on high and
snoopervise from afar
In spite of the whining and complaining discussion
the peeps did a good job.  Before long I bet you'll
see a picture of me sitting under my tree on the red
tree skirt which was crocheted by Dad's Mom along time ago

Mom even deck the mantel with garland, silver and gold candles and a Santa on each end to balance things out.
If not been for the whining and complaining discussion,
I would give them an A+....but points were deducted for the
W and C  I gave them an A-
Mom always hangs their cards from our staircase railings she says she'll show you that if she gets more than 5 cards. MOL
Yep more whining and complaining!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

  3. Your tree and mantle look beautiful! Did you get to check out that big tree box? We demand that all boxes be left open and unused for 24 hrs after entering the house. It gives us a chance to make sure they are of premium quality and are safe for use. MOL! Happy Tuesday to my favorite tuxie. XOXO from your mancat, Prancer Pie

  6. That is a very fine tree. Mum says she used to have one just like it, which she was forced to buy after she got a real one which she then couldn't get through the door and had to take a chain saw to... Once she got it in, she planted it in a bucket of sand and every morning when she came downstairs it was at 30 degree angle! She said never again and bought an artificial one! Deccy x

  7. We must be getting to know you, Madi. We KNEW the box was the most attractive part of the tree for you....unless you're going to climb the tree and bat around a few ornaments.

  8. Your Mom and Dad did a great job on the tree, it is beautiful. We are sure they would not have done so well without your expert snoopervision Madi. Our mama hasn't put our tree up yet. While I, Cindi Lou, and the members of the Kitty Krew would sit quietly and enjoy the beauty the kittens might not. Miss Georgia has already been to the top of a 6' high shelf in mama's office and sat on top of a speaker on the top shelf. She climbs everything. Mama might have to get really creative with our decorations this year.

  11. The tree is gorgeous but we have a complaint. We only see two stockings hanging on the fireplace. Where is Madi's stocking?? That is just not acceptable.
At the moment we do not have any baloney in our house. Her name is Mahoney. LOL. Too funny.

  15. I'm glad you yelled at your mom and dad to get going on the tree. It turned out beautiful. Did you get to play in the box after they took the tree out?

I wish I could claim credit for the design of the e-reader case, but it is from a pattern I found. I did make a few minor modifications though.

  28. Oh Madi the tree is gorgeous, but our Momma has finally given up putting up big trees. Now all of our trees (and she has multiples) is all under four feet. She has one tree with all kitty ornaments. She tries to find a new one each year to add to our collection. YOU are way ahead (and we don't think your M&D will catch you)in Chrissmousey cards!!! *hehehehe*

  29. I haven't been here, down home in N.C. for so long, I'm almost embarrassed to show my face! But here I am, enjoying the discussions and demerits of your Dad and Mom's tree decorating. It's beautiful! And I bet that crocheted tree skirt is so warm and cozy for such a Diva that you are.

  30. Getting ready for Christmas is a tough job, Madi, sometimes you just have to overlook the whinging and complaining, because stuff happens!
But the tree looks wonderful and the hearth so merry, ready for Santa to come down!
I hope you allowed Mom and Dad a sip of their "Naughty and Nice" wine! lol
    Chin scratches to you,
Hugs to Mom and Dad for a job well done!
