DONE
After a lot of whining and complaining discussion, Mom and
Dad decided to use the mammoth (7.5') Christmas tree one more year. Even after they brought it in there was more whining and complaining discussion so I had to get them back on task!!
I bet you don't know why I like my Christmas Tree......
because it comes in a box woohoo
Once I was sure the whining and complaining discussion was over and the box was opened..my job was done. When I was a wee
kitty, I got in the middle of everything but now
I find a comfy seat, turn my lasers on high and
snoopervise from afar
In spite of the whining and complaining discussion
the peeps did a good job. Before long I bet you'll
see a picture of me sitting under my tree on the red
tree skirt which was crocheted by Dad's Mom along time ago
Mom even deck the mantel with garland, silver and gold candles and a Santa on each end to balance things out.
If not been for the whining and complaining discussion,
I would give them an A+....but points were deducted for the
W and C I gave them an A-
Mom always hangs their cards from our staircase railings she says she'll show you that if she gets more than 5 cards. MOL

Oh your tree is lovely. I guess this year I will just have to look at yours. MOM is not budging much for getting my own tree.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

Your tree looks delightful!

Imagine how high you could climb in the mammoth tree, BOL

Your tree and mantle look beautiful! Did you get to check out that big tree box? We demand that all boxes be left open and unused for 24 hrs after entering the house. It gives us a chance to make sure they are of premium quality and are safe for use. MOL! Happy Tuesday to my favorite tuxie. XOXO from your mancat, Prancer Pie
ReplyDeleteWoof! Woof! A+. You mom sure was busy. She did a great wonderful beautiful job. Happy Tuesday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteYou haves a lovely tree!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words. Mom is thinking of posting sometime soon. Mom is a slowpoke!!
That is a very fine tree. Mum says she used to have one just like it, which she was forced to buy after she got a real one which she then couldn't get through the door and had to take a chain saw to... Once she got it in, she planted it in a bucket of sand and every morning when she came downstairs it was at 30 degree angle! She said never again and bought an artificial one! Deccy x
ReplyDeleteWe must be getting to know you, Madi. We KNEW the box was the most attractive part of the tree for you....unless you're going to climb the tree and bat around a few ornaments.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Your Mom and Dad did a great job on the tree, it is beautiful. We are sure they would not have done so well without your expert snoopervision Madi. Our mama hasn't put our tree up yet. While I, Cindi Lou, and the members of the Kitty Krew would sit quietly and enjoy the beauty the kittens might not. Miss Georgia has already been to the top of a 6' high shelf in mama's office and sat on top of a speaker on the top shelf. She climbs everything. Mama might have to get really creative with our decorations this year.

Ha ha a lot of D&C at your pad Madi. We too have the same problem every year when the beast come out of its' box. Then they D&C about the lights, the decs, the weather, the cold ....blah blah blah. Must be something about this time of year. Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
We had so much moaning going on our our Pad, the tree never got put up last Sunday :( Good job you were there to sort things out Madi.Your tree looks lovely and the red crochet tree blanket :). I have been promised ours will go up next Sunday. Have a great day xx00xx

The tree is gorgeous but we have a complaint. We only see two stockings hanging on the fireplace. Where is Madi's stocking?? That is just not acceptable.
ReplyDeleteAt the moment we do not have any baloney in our house. Her name is Mahoney. LOL. Too funny.
That's a fabulous tree- I would say: A+++. I hope sometimes they will put up my tree here too - but I have no idea WHEN...maybe on easter ;o)
ReplyDeleteyour post makes me happy because i like to know I am not the only human alive that whines and complains about putting out trees and decorations. i want it there, i like to look at it, but i do a lot of w and c getting it done. then there is more w and c when i have to pack it all away.....your house is ready for the holidays and is beautiful... i have no mantle, just a nook. see more w and c
ReplyDeleteYour tree is gorgeous, Madi. We're sorry there was so much whining and complaining from your humans, but with your supervision they did a fabulous job!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you yelled at your mom and dad to get going on the tree. It turned out beautiful. Did you get to play in the box after they took the tree out?
ReplyDeleteI wish I could claim credit for the design of the e-reader case, but it is from a pattern I found. I did make a few minor modifications though.
Cindy
Good Job Madi, you keep them in line, or they are getting lumps of coal, looking like Christmas there, will be waiting for the pic with you under the tree to really make it stand out!!!

It's a good job you're around to keep your mum and dad on track, the tree turned out lovely!! Just to warn you DONT climb the tree, i once jumped up on mine when i was a pup and it broke and fell on me, luckily mum was around to take the blame when nanny asked what happened BOL! Have a great day!!

Your tree is very lovely. I LOVE tree skirts with stories! Grandma and Grandpa always use a quilt that was made by Grandpa's grandma! But hey, where's YOUR stocking?

Madi the tree looks just lovely!!! You should be very proud of your peep's efforts :-)
ReplyDeleteOh Madi, your tree and mantel look just gorgeous. We have a big tree here too and we hear the same grumblings every year. This year Mom threatened to give it away and get a much smaller one next year. We shall see.
ReplyDeleteCan you use that big box for a tunnel?
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
OMG! Beautiful tree Madi!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy peeps have still not gotten one Christmas card yet!
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,

A pretty tree indeed!
ReplyDeleteMuhahaha!
Oh, that is a very lovely tree Madi! I LOVES it!! You did a very good job keepin' your peeps working...what would they do without your help??
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby
Oh Madi the tree is gorgeous, but our Momma has finally given up putting up big trees. Now all of our trees (and she has multiples) is all under four feet. She has one tree with all kitty ornaments. She tries to find a new one each year to add to our collection. YOU are way ahead (and we don't think your M&D will catch you)in Chrissmousey cards!!! *hehehehe*
ReplyDeleteI haven't been here, down home in N.C. for so long, I'm almost embarrassed to show my face! But here I am, enjoying the discussions and demerits of your Dad and Mom's tree decorating. It's beautiful! And I bet that crocheted tree skirt is so warm and cozy for such a Diva that you are.
ReplyDeleteGetting ready for Christmas is a tough job, Madi, sometimes you just have to overlook the whinging and complaining, because stuff happens!
ReplyDeleteBut the tree looks wonderful and the hearth so merry, ready for Santa to come down!
I hope you allowed Mom and Dad a sip of their "Naughty and Nice" wine! lol
Chin scratches to you,
Hugs to Mom and Dad for a job well done!
You did an excellent job snoopervising cuz it looked beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Your tree looks great, Madi! We bet it looks so good because of all the great snoopervising you did.
ReplyDeleteGreat Looking Tree! We has pretty much the same thing here happening with our tree. Lots and lots of whining...
