A Maiden Tale

In a not so far off land, where the sunrise was cotton candy pink,

there lived a Maiden fair.

Her nights were very stressful.  It was her job keep her peeps out of harms way. Thus requiring long naps during the day.  At sunrise, she could be found slowly drifting into dreamland...

that is, until the big bad flashy monster found her

then she had to turn her head.

She found that concentrating on the positive

and eliminating the negative....helped her realize

she was fortunate, in spite of the flashy monster,

to have a luscious comforter on which to lay her most

bodacious body.

This Maid(en)'s name is Madi the Diva Island Princess

 While I sit and ponder your plight,
I watch your hypnotic light dance across the floor

I'm no poet and I know it and my feet are 'shortfellows' but

LESSONS LEARNED from a Doxie

Early in our blogging journey, I thought it was my duty to always look at the flashy beast.  It was the least I could do since Mom was doing all the real work.
