We send this Irish Blessing to you all

May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Shamrocks in bloom at Logan's

Saturday March 11, 2023 was the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in
in Raleigh. It was about 45 degrees at the start of the parade.  The route is on what we all call 'the wind tunnel'.  No matter what time of year the Wendy Wind is always a blowin'.  I hope this man's kilt was possible weighted at the hem line?!

Sunday Mother Nature sent us a surprise
Snow and Sleet

This is Madi II aka our gray CR-V
It is just about the same shade of dark Gray as the original Madi.

Wordless Wednesday

Thanks to our

Hostess Sandee at Comedy Plus

When I saw these at the grocery store, I was wordless.

   Thankfully Wikipedia had words

Pineberry is a white strawberry cultivar with red seeds and a pineapple-like flavor.[1][2]

Description

Pineberry is a hybrid. cross from Fragaria chiloensis and Fragaria virginiana.[1] A pineberry is smaller than a common strawberry, measuring between 15 to 23 mm (0.6 to 0.9 in). When ripe, it is almost completely white, but with red achenes (the seeds). The plant is disease-resistant, and highly priced, although not profitable due to small-scale farming, small berry size and low yield.[2][3] Pineberries are harvested in the spring and summer. First identified in South America around 2002, pineberries are cultivated in Belgium and exported from the Netherlands.[2][3]

Sunday Floral Selfies

Forest Pansy Redbud

A Beacon of Three-Season Color From spring to summer and well into late fall, the Forest Pansy Redbud stands out. Erupting in a sea of delicate pink blooms in springtime, the Forest Pansy is a brilliant sight to see – and its stunning display doesn’t stop there. As the hot summer days set in, so do heart-shaped leaves in a deep maroon hue. Its elegant, eye-catching foliage is full and lush.

She has put on quite a show for us this year.  This little jewel not only has purrty blooms she has a gorgeous shape.
