Today it is my honor to host this fine event with  Easy Rider.  This idea was Easy's brain child.

I thank Easy and Staff for asking me to co-host with them.

Ready, set......

Sammy we are gonna start our magical trip at my house.  I heard you like to watch trains...
well you are gonna love riding on one twice as much.

I'll be over here I think I smell some N I P or perhaps a Chrissymas Mouse!!

Sammy my dear friend.  I read all about your love of Christmas.  

So today I would like to take you on a magical trip to one of my peeps favorite places to 

visit at Christmas, Grove Park Inn, Asheville, NC

We are going to have breakfast in the lovely Blue Ridge Room overlooking the
mountains.  I called ahead to tell them you are King of Baconia...they promised to have
lots of crispy bacon waiting for you.  This delightful group
insisted on a photo shoot and a Ginger ManCat polydactyl autograph.

There are tons of  beautiful Christmas trees
This is the Dr. Seuss theme Tree it is a favorite of Blogville.

Lucky us to stumble upon the Ginger Bread House judging and you were given a seat of honor my Santa Paws..

After a busy day of fun, food and frolicking, we are relaxing by the fire to enjoy very lovely
Christmas memories and magic

lovely to share the time with you.

THE THREE LITTLE PUGS 
 MOM HAS to work until very late
on Thursday and Early on Friday. She could not get her post up until after 6PM today so we suggested she post it with ours... here is what she wrote to you Sammy!!

MADI'S momma helped our momma get this done in time.  We are showing Sammy a little piece 

of Southeast Iowa that we also showed Pip and Puddles when they visited.

It is a civil war cannon, that is across the street from our house, and facing our house.

Does that make our mom nervous................no........as long as we stay on our side of the 

street......

WHAT ????your meow is just now

hearing of YeoWWW?

YeoWWW comes in all shapes

GREAT and SMALL

 A cigar, a carrot, a 'nanner and a sardine my mates.

My favorite is not the cigar

it is a tin of sardines by far. 

Yes a tin I did say,

The organic nip tickles my nose, 

it gives my eyes a scary glare.

As it reaches my brain,

into a trance I will remain.

Often I'm asked, "Madi what is your heart's desire",

My reply without a thought is a loud and a proud

YeoWWW! please sir/ma'am with it I am 'down'!!.

TOGM aka Nibble fingers (the one with the injured digit) is going to a Christmas Wreath workshop at 1:30 today.  It is being held at a local flower nursery.  She is taking the flashy beast. So if you see a post with the title

of Christmas Wreath, make sure you don't have any food or beverages in your mouth. It promises to be fun.

Our thoughts.....on Easy

Today when the sun rose I did not expect to hear that my dear

friend Easy Rider had passed away overnight. Just a week

ago tomorrow, Easy was FINE.  He wrote to us about planning an event for Sammy.  Easy was so excited.  We were both in our best thinking spots,  Easy was under the covers on his bed and I was sitting on the table.  We made it happen in 20 minutes.

This morning Easy's Staff told us they would like for 

Come Fly with Me to go on as planned. They will pawticipate. 

In it's own way it speaks to Easy's love of blogville.

 Sammy and Easy were the best of buds, two of the toughest guyz we know with GREAT BIG Hearts of Gold.  Later down the

road Easy's staff said they will do something in honor of  his life  but they are not ready yet.

 So friends, after confirming it is ok with Easy's Staff and Sammy,

we will be strong for Easy.  We will proudly carry Easy's grand idea for Sammy to the finish line.  Sammy and Easy were buddies.  

Good buddies put on your wings and..........

Around this great big world....life can change in a heart beat

Tuesday Tale

Apparently Senior Kitties can do new things.  I  am at 14 years and 8 months and

Lo and behold I managed to shock the slippers off my peeps feets yesterday morning.

Now YOU KNOW I like to help dad shave so sitting on the counter is no biggy....many of my

kitty friends like to get in sinks and lick the water but I HAVE NEVER DONE IT.

I kept sitting on the counter then all of a sudden in I go...Mom thought turning on the water would 

send me scurrying but NOPE I went right in the sink took a few trial runs and bang I was a sipping like a pro.  The peeps have no clue why/what possessed me to start this. I don't like my feets

wet but that must have changed.  In the center photo I'm standing in water!!!!!

Mom was in total shock at how up close and purrsonal I became
with the water.  In the right photo my nose was a nano meter from the water

:::OUR NEW STUNNING HEADER:::
Mom and I would like to thank Ann from Zoolarty for surprising us with this
absolutely beautiful header!!!!!!!!

MESSY Monday MEWS and my 1st Card

On Thanksgiving just mere minutes before our lunch guest were scheduled to arrive mom was washing this VERYYYYYYYYYYY sharp dagger knife....by hand

SHE WILL NO LONGER WASH IT BY HAND....

This is the day after photo 

 There are no graphic photos but just hearing mom talk about it makes me queasy.  Some how the dagger made a large diagonal 

slice between the first joint and the knuckle.  

She **** like the worst scene from a horror movie.  She bellowed for dad he came running, got her to the bathroom for first aid.  He made her sit down, proceeded to put 87 band aides on it to stop the ****!!!!!!! She became very clammy, lightheaded and dad said she was white as a ghost...aka in shock....he got her to the bed thinking she was gonna faint.   Fast forward 30 minutes.  Aunty K and Uncle G arrived.  Mom was once again standing...but Aunty K took over.  She gave mom an ice pack to hold on the finger and told her to keep it up right.  Aunty K started setting the table and dishing up the vittles. 

Thanksgiving night dad helped mom take off the 87 band aides.  They were very thankful to see no more ****and most of all the wound had closed up nicely...thanks to Dad's good bandaging!!  It doesn't hurt unless she puts pressure on it so she is being very careful.....

BUT FRIENDS  SHE GLAD SHE DID OUR CHRISTMAS

POSTCARDS EARLY...CAUSE MORE THAN LIKELY THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN DELAYED, can type but she cannot bend the finger to write or
cut.

Dear Friends of Sammy, One Spoiled Cat,

Easy Rider and I would love to invite you all to pawticipate in a very special day to

Sammy has not felt well for some time.  He has been dealing with the effects of aging.
  He is purring for a few more good days with his peeps and is 

hopeful with his vets help he can rally a bit.
