 Mom and my Sis were packing up food to take to my G-peep's house on Christmas Eve.

  Mom turned from the fridge to find ME sitting in the box meant for the ham.  I told her I would

DAD DIDN'T SNEAK A BITE!!

MOM FOUND THAT TO BE QUITE FUNNY!!  

I love ham better than boxes and you know how much I love boxes!!

Today Mom and I would like to highlight a very special 

FAMILY

member....My bro-in-law (BIL) aka my sis's husband.

BIL is a very talented wood turner. OMCs you will never

believe what BIL made for my Peeps for Christmas

this beautiful hand turned bowl.

It is very special because 

1. he made it

2. it is oblong and much harder to turn than a round bowl

 3. He managed to keep the natural bark on the edge of 

the bowl through the entire turning process.

Thank you BIL for making mom squeal

FRIENDS

Mom's very dear friend and her husband and 5 

pups surprised us with a special package from 

Second Chance Pet Adoption.

They sponsored a kitty in our name for the Holidays

There was an ornament in the box for the peeps

 and a fancy blue ribbon for

 me to wear...but the most important thing was 

 this information card on Baker the black kitty

they sponsored in our name.

 and a picture of Baker on the flip side.  I was quite

smitten with Baker.  Mom said we had the very same color

eyes too.

We thank Mr. and Mrs. E and their 5 pups for sponsoring 

Baker in our names and we hope and purr Baker found a 

furever home.

Mr. BROWN UPS left this on our porch and I think he had

a fish samich sandwich for lunch.

SO NO USE WASTING MY TIME

 Mom told me peeps cannot read upside down so she flipped the 

picture.  

WHOA ARE YOU DIZZY YET.

SHE SAID TO TELL YOU IF YOU HAVE BACK TROUBLES

SHE HIGHLY RECOMMENDS THIS MASSAGER.

My sis got one and loved it so much Mom ordered one for herself.

Right out of the clear blue sky we rec'd a package from them

addressed to DMMtC, (Diva Mayoress Madi the Cat) and Mom
Miss Cindi Lou Who and her posse are a hoot!!

Ms J and Miss Cindi Lou Who were two our our very, very first
kitty blogging friends.  Ms. J takes the most beautiful pictures of everything around her and volunteers with the local cat shelter to spay and neuter the kitties in her city and is a foster mom.

But I had to make sure there was nothing left in the paper
Mom is bad about hiding things from me.
Mom received a darling book
"I Could Pee On This" and other Poems by Cats
by Francesco Marciuliano.  Mom says the 
title alone tickles her funny bone

If you have never smelled a lobster full of cat nip,
I highly recommend you do so.    Two of a felines favorite things
seafood and catnip in one easy sniff.

Of course you know if there was a box I was either going to get in it 
or sit on it!!

Mom is getting pretty handy with her iPad video functions
so here is a verbal thank you.  Mouth of the South, aka Mom,
was talking a lot but if you listen carefully you'll hear my

Bright and early on Monday morning my peeps were

leaving for their walk at 8am way before our mail comes

and lo and behold there was a package for me on the porch.

It was from

Molly the Wally 

This is one of my favorite pictures of during the Gymnastics
portion of the Summer Olympics

Look at her stylin' in her shiny furs and Olympic Shades

Molly lives across the Pond AND this my first package ever from the U.K.!!

THE PACKAGE WAS SO INTERESTING

Mom made a collage of the HIGH POINTS of the package

1. IT WAS ROYAL MAIL, which she said was quite fitting 

2. OMFs (oh my friends) it was from Molly gal pal

3. I just love how it was addressed. MOL
4. Molly gave up a chunk few pieces of shiny fur.  Her mom 
taped it to the package and labeled it 'my signature'! 
In case you didn't know, Molly and her peeps are so funny.
5. Moi checking the smell mail Molly left on the package
6.  Finally I let mom open it to get to this package beneath
the cardboard. It was wrapped in this very pretty paper with Molly's picture on the gift tag.

Enough treats to keep this Diva happy for a very long time.

Three Dreamies Mix crunchy outside, soft inside... just like me!! MOL, and two packs of Felix Goody Bags seaside and original mix!

and a Cat nip stuffy that smells yummy.

Lo and behold underneath all those treats was my very 

own Fairy Wand Set.  Just what a Diva Mayoress needs too

a hair comb, ear bobs and a ring!! I just have to figure out which paw to wear the ring.

Mom had to explain the wand thing-a-ma-jig

Dang I had no idea I could wave my wand and say abracadabra 

to get anything my heart desired

If you look closely, you'll see I gave it some toofers too

and now I have my very own bejeweled Diva Crown

I'll be using my wand and my crown at my swearing in 

festivities.
