In 2017 Angel Sammy and Teddy gave us 4 word challenge to write a poem

Today's 4 word challenges are 

tiger, tummy, tired, travel

 Time Travel

A tiger lives within my mind.

We are 87th cousins from nose to behind.

I have an imagination 

that gets my tush in gear and my brain on a train.

I travel far beyond the grains of time

to places my four legs could ever find.

Time travel makes my tummy roar like a mighty tiger

looking for a meal to ease the hunger.

Never am I tired of what I see in my mind's eye.

 I travel over land, trees and dusty terrain

and when I awake I know I remain

in my home but oh those grains of time

will always be mine.

I called him he looked right at me but turned away in a nano second.

Rigatoni aka Riggy is  a Lagotto Romagnolo (at least that is what I think my neighbor said).  I asked what he hunted, she said his next snack.  

He is a family pet.  His fur is usually shorter and curly but they are letting it grow out for the winter.  Jenny also grooms him when he is visiting.  I could not see his eyes.

I wanted to share a shortened version of my daily, morning affirmations. 

Mom asked her students to keep a list of affirmations in their journals. 

She helped the kiddos understand & practice the difference between being “confident” and being “cocky”!

Remember: If you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will either. 

Nephew Rocky...OMCs Auntie 10000% agrees with every word you said.  I am so happy Mom taught her students

the importance of Pawsitive thinking.  This lesson learned early is most impawtant to succeed in life.
