G.R.I.T.S AND GOTCHA

Last week my BFF Declan aka Deccy the handsome Greyhound who gives us chill bumps asked us a very serious question...

WHAT ARE GRITS?

Well being Southern gals we were happy to help our Dahlin Deccy figure out this perplexing question so that he was no longer

addled

Official definition: finely ground particles. The official name is hominy grits which is made from corn. They are considered a hot breakfast cereal like oatmeal. Mom told him when she makes grits she makes a gracious plenty for everyone

Deccy was quite happy to finally have this cleared up and was thrilled to learn that he was about 3/4 right on what he thought Grits were. Mom also explained that you can buy flavored grits which she highly recommends to those not RAISED on grits as they are an acquired taste

Well being the Southern girl always ready to help Mom went a step further telling Deccy there is also another form of GRITS which is quite popular in our neck of the woods

And we have an official G.R.I.T.S Tee Shirt with all

kinds of Southern sayings on the back. Mom and I, Puddles and her Mom say them about 87 million times a day, 7 days a week.

This song is one of Mom's favorite songs. She doesn't recall it being played much on the radio but she absolutely loves the music, beat and words.

Smell Mail from Jazzi

I won the door prize at Jazzi's birthday party on April 6th.

OH MY KAT(HY).....

MS KATHY IS A VERY TALENTED BEADER . PLEASE CLICK HERE TO SEE HER WEBSITE

Mom sent Ms. Kathy a picture of the necklace shown below.

Mom has lots of Ms. Kathy's Crystal Creations but this is the first time she has asked her to match something she already had in her jewelry box. Mom asked Ms. Kathy to make earrings and a bracelet to match and lo and behold she
DID IT AND BOY DID SHE DO IT RIGHT!!

If you think it is pretty in the picture, you should see the crystal
beads sparkle in person and each bead matches ones on the necklace.

Ms. Kathy by chance can you make me 4 itty bitty bracelets just like Mom's for each of my paws? I believe my wrist size is

-4". I especially like the turquoise and pink combo AND

be sure to leave some smell mail on each of them.

Oh and I would also like some earrings but mine will need to be

clip on PLEASE. I'm not about to let some amateur puncture my most lovely fur ears.

If Mom will not share her necklace with me

I might have to have you make me one of those too.

And finally my last request...I love this little shiny, purple drawstring bag Mom's came in...may I have one of those too?
There is one tiny I don't get an allowance but I'll happily trade you
some of my furs.
