Tuesday, July 27, I posted a photo of my K9 nephew Pup standing by some adorable ladybug rocks he peeps collected this past Spring while they were in Colorado.  He told me his peeps artistically turned the plain river rocks into Lady Bugs.  Here is the photo again

My nephews Mom told me their favorite camp ground is Priest Gulch in Colorado.  She said the camp ground encourages campers to leave painted rocks. She sent me this photo of some of their favorite Painted rocks. Note the Cat top right.  She said they could not find the one they left there in 2017

She also sent me this video w/music of the Painted Rock Bed.

Our hosts asked us to

 tea-se you with TEA… all about tea, what’s your favorite tea recipe in summer? Do you have a special recipe to beat the heat with iced tea? or do you prefer hot tea for hot weather? Show us your  recipes with da motto TEA 4 TWO

Simple to make Southern Drink of Choice 

Place two family size Lipton Decaf tea bags in a large pitcher

Pour  four cups of almost boiling water over tea bags

Let tea bags seep in hot water. Add  1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar to

tea (while it is still warm so the sugar dissolves).  

Place pitcher in fridge at least an hour before serving.

Serve over ice, add lime and mint. This amount is Tea 4 two.

I never make more tea than I plan to use at one time. We don't like left over

Dear Auntie HiC, It is I Kat your eldest feline Nephew.  Mom's teaching skills have rubbed off on me.  I always try to share what I have learned with the little whippersnapper Rocky.

Dad puts birdseed on railing for doves every evening. Ms. Raccoon and her latest rascally litter arrived for dinner just before dark last evening.  I shared some fun raccoon facts with Rocky.

Here is a recent bit info.

Did you know baby raccoons are called “kits”? A raccoon, named, Rebecca, once lived in the White House. Raccoon’s masks are actually for preventing glare to the eyes. An average raccoons has 438 million neurons in a relatively small brain, which places them on the higher end of mammal intelligence scale. Yep, they’re smarter than cats!

Dearest Nephew Kat.................

OMCs I learned so much I'm thinking I might need a few extra neurons!! Wonder if the raccoons can share some me?

It is very kind of Dad to leave out some food for Mama Raccoon and her kits.  I bet she get pretty exhausted trying to prepare enough food for that little rascally kits.  Auntie is extremely prejudice the raccoon kits are adorable but NUTTIN' compares to the handsome, sweet, kindness of my kitty Nephews.  PLUS you two are cuddly.

Thank you so much for the photos, education and video.  I'll be preparing it for posting and will let you know when it will post.

You have exquisite taste.  Did you know the fancy pants Fancy Feast Cat eats from a crystal bowl!!?? Inquiring minds wonder if Mom will serve you from the crystal bowl.  

Now all this positive being said dear daring Rocket-man your test flight to the top of the hutch might have her serving you bread and water from the confines of the laundry room!! Just sayin'. Ummmon second thought you fit purrfectly in that spot.  Now inquiring minds wonder if it was 'meant for you to be there'?!!!!

Different paths and trails on the NC Art Museum campus

The museum sits smack in the middle of a very busy section of Raleigh; however,

when you are on the trail your senses are filled with beauty, tranquility and often the smell of freshly cut grass. 

There are many water ways on the campus

below is one of the larger ones. 

Every now and then the local residents pop into frame

Mama goose and 2 goslings on the left, Dad following close behind to make sure I don't bother them.

Shady groves of trees
