Thankful and Poetic Thursday

I write this in RED for the Diva

I am very thankful today and always for the compassion and

kindness shown to us after Diva Angel Madi(son) D Cat went over the rainbow bridge.

Special thanks to all of you who stuck with me as I meandered around aimless for 

several weeks.  

 Back in June of 2009, I had no idea how I would speak for Madi.  Evidently I was a feline in another life. It was surprisingly easy to translate felinese thoughts and expressions. 

Thank you for sticking with me as I became a solo act.  I might have been the one with thumbs but Madi(son) D Cat was the brains.

On Monday we rec'd a letter from Wake Co. SPCA informing us that

Hidden Valley Animal Hospital, made a Tribute donation in Madi's name.

This donation is to help shelter animals have a second chance to find a 

furever home.

I cannot tell you how THANKFUL and fortunate we were to have such a loving and caring Vet for Madi's entire life.  They loved her as much as we did.

What the Sea Gull Sees
by Angel Madi

Up high in the sky, the wind beneath my wings I soar. 
My eyes peeled on the shore 
Looking for fishes, crabbies and so much more
I glide with pride not a worry have I.
Yikes a stop light in the sea Oh me, 
It gives me a fright....
Do I halt my flight, go left or go right or turn around
so I don't drown?
Surely this was done by a clown.

Happy Tuesday This and That

On Thursday mornings at breakfast, my husband and I enjoy reading the poetry for the week.  Last week we were discussing the photo (below) that was my inspiration for Thoroughly Poetic Pictorial Thursday on November 1.  

Me:  As I showed the photo to him I said, 
I'm not sure if this is sand or snow

Him:  Who is Sandra Snow?

Me: What?????😕
Him: I thought you said it was Sandra Snow
Me: No I said sand or snow

US:  Giggling😂

Grills, parking lots and Plates

We walk 5 days a week at Crabtree Valley Mall for 45 minutes to an hour.
This time of year we walk outside all around the parking lots and decks enjoying
the crisp fall air and sun.  I saw this darling little jeep with a customized  grill of lime green
I wonder if it is glow in the dark green?

 The leaves were glorious last week as was the cloudless blue October skies

While we are talking about parking lots...and decks they are always void of cars and we are the only folks walking.  Thursday, November 1, 2018 just as I came around the corner what did I see smack in the middle of an empty parking place?  A $10.00 dollar bill.  It was still damp from the over night dew.  Yay me...walking is good for your heart and your wallet.

Ironically on October 1, 2018 same time of day same general location

my husband found a $5.00 dollar bill!  We are eagerly awaiting December 1st?  Maybe we'll find a $20.00 bill.
