 First Year White Ibis changing into White Plumage
I feel extremely fortunate to have seen this beautiful creature.

When it comes to shore birds, I must admit to being an amateur birder.  I would like to thank my friend Kathy for identifying  these birds for me.  For nearly 5 years, she and her husband traveled in an RV all over the USA and Canada Birding!! They blogged about all they saw here and even made it to NC to meet us!!

At 1 pm today, our time, 

It is our first time there.  Mom had some fantastic shore bird sightings last weekend.

My peeps went to visit my sweet human sis, brother in law

and their cat, Harley, last weekend.  I stayed home 

but lo and behold by 

the magic of Pizap Mom magically transported me

to Harley's house for our first family photo.

Harley  is almost 11.  He came up to visit us a few times

when he was a kitty...but after a few very uncomfortable trips

it was determined he did not like cars.

Mom saw these two pups on the Boardwalk in Beaufort..she loved the looks on their  faces. She knew exactly what they were thinking

Of course she was waiting on the sidelines with the camera her evil twin hoping to snap something exciting.  She usually misses all the good stuff...WTG mom you did it!!

Wow, the month is half over already and I'm really having fun with Recruit A Pal!  

 I'm trying to find a new/returning furiend to join us and I know lots of you are
 working at it too.  Thanks so much for trying to get more furiends to come to Blogville.

Well, one of my big suggestions to help you recruit is the idea of creating the basic
 blog setup for someone new.   Sometimes these tech things can be very scary and

 blogged before, they might not know how to start.   SO, WHY NOT START THE BASIC 
BLOG FOR THEM!   THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT FRANKIE DID FOR ME.   YUP, HE GAVE ME

A READY-TO-GO BLOG.   ALL I HAD TO DO WAS START POSTING.   SUPER EASY!

So, I created a basic, rather generic blog for someone who wants 
to start posting.

HERE'S A SHOUT OUT TO MY SILENT FOLLOWERS!   PLEASE JOIN US!

 THEY SHOWED ME THEIR SOFT GRAY SOCKS ALMOST AS SOFT AS MY FURS

Granted it is not sock weather in Dixie but here is the rest of the story.

These socks were 

FREE  

You see back in the fall they bought

socks at Clark's Shoes.  The sales person told my peeps the socks were guaranteed for life.  If they got a hole in them, to return them for another pair.

I'm betting they kinda wish they hadn't told my peeps about free socks.  Dad is Mr. Scissor toes.

These are the 2nd pair he has returned.

Mom can't remember the last time she had a hole in a pair of socks.  Until these.
