Wild Wednesday

Flash back of my perch you saw in yesterday's post.

It is not a new perch...it is in fact almost an antique!!

This is one wild photo....you can see on the pic the date is 12/22/96.

The perch originally belonged to Milky-Way the first family cat.

This photo is way before we had the kitchen remodeled and the wood work painted.
After the remodel mom moved my perch upstairs!!

Milky-way was about 11 y.o. in this photo and Cali (my human sis's Cornish Rex) was about

5 y.o.  MW adored Cali and she adored him.  

This was a well made perch it is holding about 22 lbs of fine feline-nese. 

Mom absolutely loves loves loves this photo!!

Last Friday morning Mom got grabby out of the blue.  You see I had 
a hair ball, duh I'm a cat, not on the carpet.   However, I did sashay through it.  She didn't want it on the new carpet so she grabbed me like a sack of potatoes,  stuck my paws under the 
F A U C E T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What in the world was she thinking I don't do water. Then she hollered for dad to come help her trim my nails. Geez I thought spa days were supposed to be relaxing.

I repeat:  

WANTED....ONE NEW HOME!!

Remember WHAT HAPPENS at the PARK stays at the PARK!!

Mom and I say a great big thank you to all who are pawcipants in our Park event and all who are visiting us.  AND MOST OF ALL THANK YOU ALL FOR arriving  on time.

OMCs we were literally and happily flooded with friends for our Park event...

We had them crawling up the walls and sitting on the roof. Our goal was to make this a 

EPIC event for Angel Dory and you all MADE IT HAPPEN!!!

IS EVERY BUDDY READY?  LETS HEAD TO THE CAROUSEL!!

Let me count noses... 84, 85, 86....where is 87 we missing someone...

Just as you approach the Carousel...Da Phenny and friends are there to greet you.

Da Phenny mom was amazed your handsome Weimaraner furs match

the statues purrfectly!!

Andy Griffith is a native of Mt. Ariy, NC...this bronze statue of Andy and Opie was placed in Pullen Park in Raleigh by TV Land. The network on which you can find nearly continuous reruns of the Andy Griffith show from the 60's.

The Dentzel Carousel was the most popular ride. 

 Everybuddy put on their make believe hats to take  some wild rides.

As soon as the doors to the Carousel open Misty jumped right up on the reindeer.

After all she is a Siberian Woo.  Crazy Woo got into the spirit with a Santa hat!!

Raz said it was the first time he had seen a reindeer and for sure

the first time he ever saw a Woo riding anything.

Lightning was looking for Misty when all of a sudden he heard a growled greeting....

You wanna take bets on who won this paw race?

Siblings Toona and Dai$y are well known in Blogville as the Trout Talkin' Tabbies

and real fish lovers. It was a close race but Toona beat Dai$y to the cat ride.

The sib competition heated up when they both tried trick riding.

OMCs I hope the food service girl doesn't ration their food for being such a double daring duo!!

Mr. Bailey cruised around looking for the perfect ride....he wanted something fast and unique
Looks like he found it too.

Love birds Phoebe's Purrince Siddhartha took her on a slow and easy ride on the love

chariot... he even lined the floor with a bed of roses.  Siddhartha you are such a romantic

BREAKING NEWS BREAKING NEWS THERE IS A WILD ANIMAL LOOSE in the PARK
Van Gogh somehow got into the park...never fear..
Murphy, Raz and Tuirren are all at the scene we are sure they will have it neutralized 
lickety split.

Back to our regularly scheduled events....

Delicate and petite Dory found a very tall friend.  She hopes her momma
doesn't faint when she sees her riding backwards and that she is on a Safari!!

Madi and Chimera decided to ride double....cause they are looking for cowboys
and 4 eyes are better than 2

Piper says riding a bucking bronco or racing is my dream
Lo and behold Bronco Billy was ready and willing to accommodate both dreams

SURPRISE RUBY HAS A POP UP HYDRATION BAR

Bertie is one well traveled WFT; however, his DREAM has always been to be a Conductor.

Art in the Park
The boyz went wild when they saw all the open space to romp and roam...
However, Artistic Jakey had another plans

Fenris' dream was to holler 'all aboard' on a  train heading to parts unknown
Stanley needed a quick ride out of town...he heard box cars were the place to do that.

Mayoral Moment...
Some how...Mayor Arty climbed to the top of the slide then vertigo took hold
he could not make himself go down.
Thank goodness Bentley there to lend a paw.

Mabel is the ultimate hostess with the mostest.
She enjoyed the tire swing and even surprised us with  SNACKS

The thing about Spring Break is meeting new friends.
Hazel and Scylla became besties under the shady canopy while sipping
itty bitty kitty drinks.

Dachshunds will be dachshunds and there is nothing you can do about it.
Frankie and Ernie might be vertically challenged but their dream of coming South to shake things up is a reality

Louis might be itty bitty but he has mighty dreams of sailing the high seas in
search of treasure and maidens.

Dougie Dog showed off his best dog paddling skills while cruisin' Pullen Park Lake with Zoie

Several Friends took to the fields to PLAY BALL

Jake lives in Florida where a lot of the big league guys have spring practice

Phod was a bit worried when he saw this little biped about to hit...............
Precious but ever faithful Hailey was there!!

Shelby's dream is to be a goalie but everyone says...your legs are too short ...
Woohoo.  Shelby says never stop dreaming I found the purrfect team mate she has short legs too!!

OMCs Finley the Westie's dream of being a Fitness guru were quickly squashed
when Kinely and Binley dreamed  they were cats.   Then the real felines had to step in.

Casey and Jessie 2 rescues know all about BIG DREAMS...
