I'm so very thankful for all of you my friends.  Your kind emails, healing thoughts cards.  All brightened my day and made me smile.
 I am also extremely thankful to report, one week and one day post appendectomy, I am coming along nicely my belly button is technicolor...sorry if that is TMI!!

Short answer is they work as deterrent to many critters.

Motto: feel good recipes

In anticipation of 'In Purrsuit of Flavors', I prepared this recipe about a month ago and REMEMBER to take photos.  

It is easy, very refreshing, good for you and  thus it is a feel good recipe no cooking and there is enough for several meals.

Hints: Personally the amount of oil and vinegar was a bit too much.

Start with less, taste and adjust.  I start with about 1/4 of each.

I don't like raw onions normally but I cut these very very small and manage ok.

Onions are optional. You can certainly use other peas besides these.  I think black eyed peas would be quite tasty too.

 Today's post in Awww of my wonderful neighbor who delivered the most delish meal to us after my appendectomy.   A homemade chicken casserole with wild rice and green beans for side dishes and DESSERT was Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake.
