My four men are busy doing various and sundry things.

Rocky is keeping his eye on the weather. 

Pup is keeping his eye on me.

Their Dad decided it was a good time to cook chicken stir fry.

Kat says he can’t be bothered!

First a short poem

Splish Splash

I hope we don't crash

Those rocks look hard

 OMCs  the water looks  

like shards of glass

Now for some fun facts about white water rafting in NC

My home sits smack in the middle of NC.

Just three hours West you can climb Hills

Three hours East you can stick your toes in the Sea.
If it is a thrill you seek,
head west to Bryson City.
A short trip to the top of the mountain,
will take you to NOC

(Nantahala outdoor center), 

Adventures galore await you there.

You will find so much to do your head will spin.
Once you are ready to descend you have a choice: train or raft
If you are daft, you can ride a raft.
If you have a brain, you can ride a train.
We have done this several times; however,
this gal always rides the rail. No way she
wants to splish splash in the rapids or chance
falling out on her head.

Side note: the train tracks run parallel to the rapids
you can virtually experience the "fun" as you watch everyone
in the rafts.

Guess what, Sunday April 30, 2023 was my 3rd Gotcha Day....and I spent it in New Mexico with my wonderful pawrents  and my brudders Kat and Pup!!

I celebrated exactly the way I wanted: in my favorite basket, in a sun puddle, listening to some of my fav tunes, & playing with Mom.

I even had a bite of  shrimp before Mom made fajitas.

It was a purrr-fect day❣️

Of course there was music and games too

I am one lucky Ginger!!
