Happy Tuesday Tale from the Trail
No one would be surprised to learn that I brake for all animals. Often I'm actually invited to come over to meet dogs on the trails, which makes me all kinds of Happy. Last Thursday, May 13, I spied a gorgeous Golden Retriever walking his owner. As they approached me his owner asked, "would you like to meet Bentley"? I said 100% yes. I love meeting new friends. Bentley is a very large Golden Retriever and what beautiful fur. I said Bentley, you are most handsome. His owner told me Bentley was a rescue.
They think he was about 3 or 4 then. They have had him 3 years. No one knew his story; however, I do know that he was very well mannered and gentle. When I went to pet him, he leaned on my leg. Both of us had a case of the happies on the trail. I asked permission to take his photo. Just as I snapped this picture Bentley had a great big YAWN!!

Special Birthday on Awww Monday and Sparks
On a recent drive thru parts of an older neighborhood in Raleigh, I said Awww when I saw this very modern home. As you can see, it takes up an entire block. Tin roof...lots of industrial building materials.
As we made our way by the front...
