My Dear Friend Pip

 Dear friends it is with a very heavy heart mom and I

come in today to tell you my Sweetheart Pip

will be traveling to the Rainbow bridge today

at 11:30 am central time.

Last night we received an email telling us he

was very sick.  A portion of the email is below:

He has had a terrible few days - not eating, labored breathing, very weak to the point where his legs sometimes give out on him. I had hoped that he would bounce back as he has so many times, but I don't think he is going to this time ...
 Our vet believes his body is shutting down and he may have had a stroke. The breathing issues may be more to do with his trachea collapsing than his heart issues. I'm still processing everything ...they have given him some pain medication for the night and in the morning we will make the decision. He is sleeping quietly next to me as I type. Last night he was up all night panting and pacing - every few steps he would fall over.

Pip's mom asked that we prepare a post letting his friends know of his trip and to tell you all he loves you,

thanks you all for your prayers this past year

and most of all he thanks you all for

allowing him to complete his Bucket List

earlier this year.

Pip's Mom hopes to have a post up later this weekend.

Dear Pip and Family Blogville is a better place from knowing you!!

My heart hurts Pip but  I want to tell you it was an honor to have you say YES when I asked you to be my 

Valentine this Year.   
I will always remember you in your bow tie
with cheese on your chin hair.

One of my favorite spots in my home is 

in, what used to be the first Diva's my human sis's

room.  It is on the front of the house and away from

all the commotion mom makes...yes it is true Mom can be 

L O U D 

Above the bed where I rest is a cross stitching called

AN IRISH BLESSING

It is a favorite of Mom's

In case you can't read it...Mom typed it for you.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields 
and until we meet again, 
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I think this is a very nice place to nap and mediate

It might be quiet up here but never fear
the smell of bacon, turkey and corn bread cooking
always find their way to my delicate nose.

I have the house to myself!!
 My peeps have left the building for the morning.
Today is the first full day of the NC State Fair.
They left early to attend before the crowds arrive
back in the afternoon.

THANKFUL THURSDAY

Recently Mom ordered a light weight Christmas

scarf from Mollie and Alfie's it arrived yesterday

all the way from Merry Ole England!!!

Mom is very thankful for having such a talented

and creative friend!!

OMCs/OMDs Mollie

sent me some smell mail...I'm going to 

try to answer it

Mollie: Do you have a date for the Howl-o-ween ball?

Yes:  Me, Myself and I BTW I love

You bet your pink bra I do but mum is the word!!!

Mollie: Do you think Puddles will swing from the chandeliers?

 OF COURSE...AND I HEARD SHE

HAS A SPECIAL SURPRISE PLANNED 

FOR ALL THE BOYS!!

YES IT WILL BE A CROWD STOPPER.

Mollie: Do you think Sarge and his deputies

will have a full jail?

Well Mollie that question will require some thought,

and mediation...I'll ponder it while is sit upon

I GIVE THE OLD GIRL A THRILL

I LIKE HER iPad...it doesn't have a flashy on it.

FYI:  Mom was playing Words With Friends 

and crocheting I love watching her fingers,

the tiles and the yarn...Most entertaining

COOTIES........

Last Saturday morning, at 10:30 am, when we left to 

run some errands. Madi was napping so 

I left the bed unmade ::GASP:: I only do that for Madi.

Returned at 12:30 to find her in the same position.

Head all tucked and snoring.

She was so cute I leaned over her, put my arms around

her to give her a hug.  She gave me a few huffs and puffs but all in 

all enjoyed it.  I had the flashy beast ready, because I knew what 

would happen.  She gave me this look......

THEN SHE HAD TO GET RID OF MY

COOTIES

 AT LAST SHE WAS FREE OF MOMMY COOTIES

TURNED AROUND AND CONTINUED TO NAP BUT 

KEPT ONE EYE ON ME.

I WANT TO THANK MY GAL PAL ZOEY AT

Now I need to tell you 7 things about me

1.  I love sun puddles and I hope they always
SHINE ON in my house.
2. I love Cheerios when mom shares which isn't often
3. I snoopervise Dad's shaving and showering every day!
Often I have to remind him to wash behind his ears
4. I have an itty bitty patch of dark gray furs on my back paw.
It is under the white so you have to search for it
5. If my din-din is not in my Winnie the Pooh Plate
promptly at 4 pm, I give mom a piece of my mind 
6. Mom wanted to name me Clancy.  The vet who gave me my
wellness check up was Dr. Clancy.  
Thank goodness Dad had the good sense to say 
she is too delicate to be a Clancy. Boy do I have Dad fooled!

7. Mom here:  Madi(son) D. Diva Mayoress knows what she wants and we love her to pieces.  She makes us laugh each day.
