and my head was making a shadow...mom Pizapped my shadow too.
Don't you just love the bed of yellow day lilies!!
I am so proud of niece, Mia and my nephew Frisco they are
adorable.
Our hosta is blooming too. This is the first time we've put it in a pot.
Years past the critters ate it. Mom's hummingbird feeder is just behind the
hosta and hummers like hostas so we hope to see them feeding here soon

Thoroughly Thankful Poetic Thursday

Being an over achiever I have decided once again to use all of them.
Thoroughly Poetic Thursday with Teddy and Angel Sammy
Today's poem is factual/with embellishments by
Madi
While my peeps were away,
Bored I did stay
So I hopped on eBay.
To my surprise I found lots of goodies
Including cookies.
To my delight,
My order was sent overnight.
I ate and I ate til them I did toss
all over the new carpet.
Alas I had no car to take me far.
All I could do was face my fate
When my peeps arrived, very late in the night
we had a gleeful reunion. There were squeals of joy
and lots of hugs. I was thrilled beyond belief
to hear mom's camera storage was over loaded.
So three cheers there is no evidence there
were cookies tossed about.
THE END
This photo was taken on Tuesday, June 27th,
the day after the aforementioned incident.
As you can see I had no worries. Life is good
my peeps are home!!
Today we are participating in
I Madison D. Cat am thankful for a loving home and understanding
peeps who love me unconditionally. I am especially thankful for mom's handy
dandy Bissell Pet Shampooer which she 'happily' put to use at 10 pm on Monday night.

Today I' starting to features some pictures of our vacation...in no particular order
Jet boat tour down the Colorado River through Canyonlands National park.
I was very thankful for the wonderful opportunity to take a trip in a covered boat.
Normally this is the boat used for the Jet Boat tour. We could have literally melted
w/o a top.
It was a scorching day (103F).

From the boat we saw a family of Brown Desert Big Horn sheep.
As you can see they blend in with their surroundings.

Wordy Wednesday
Mom was away when our huggy puggy Mr. Bailey made his trip OTRB last week.
We were so very sorry to read about his passing
He was was the reigning Patriarch of the Idaho Pug Ranch.
Mr. B ruled with a sweet paw, loving spirit and always a tilt of head.
We know his peeps, Hazel and Mabel are missing him....
but have comfort in knowing he is with all his Pug Siblings and furiends who
are all pain free once again.
Mom says thank you for all your good trip wishes. She and Dad had the 'time of their lives'!
She really and truly has nearly 400 photos to go through. Mini Madi made the trip too. The peeps were on a guided tour. Each moment of the 6 days they were gone was packed full of adventures and breathtaking beauty in Colorado and Utah. She will for sure share them some here and some on her purrsonal blog. She'll be sure to add links to that blog when she post over there.
She is glad to be home....even though she has a nasty summer cold or the infamous nasty air on an airplane bug. For this reason she might be slower than normal posting them.

They are back
Just in time to celebrate my 8th
blogaversary!!
Their plane arrived at RDU at 9pm last night...

Hopefully the peeps will be up and about soon
so we can start catching up
Mom has 87,000,000 photos to go through and rest assured she will share but in the meantime, I'm here to tell you they have been traipsing all over

My blog went live on June 16, 2009....Mom did not have one picture of me...
::gasp::
AND she did not know exactly how to download photos from the camera to the 'puter. She put up one post that first week. The following week she LEARNED how to load photos... but then she was worried she would not have anything to say...........but here were are 8 years later...and trust me when I say...she has more pictures of me now than she has of my human sister. She has posted nearly every day since her first post with a picture of me...
