DAD HAS AGREED TO COOK YOUR MEAT TO YOUR
LIKING. BUTTER BEANS 'CAUSE SOME OF MY GIRLFRIENDS ARE WATCHING THEIR WAIST LINE.
I'm happy to report my good buddy Remington is on the mend after his terrible tummy ache yesterday. I asked Mom to have some tummy friendly items for him. Rem have some Cherrios for strength and Greek Yogurt to coat your tummy.
Grab a party hat, find a comfy spot. This is My Life, produced and narrated by Mom, mainly because I don't remember a lot of things from the early years.
In late 2001 Mom, Dad and my Uncle G all decided it was time for them to get a new forever kitty. They all had kitties who had traveled to the Bridge several years before. On May 11, 2002, which happened to be the Saturday before Mother's day, they traveled together to look for that special kitty. Lo and behold they happened upon a cage labeled Kitty L and M who were litter mates. Born on March 11, 2002.
OMC were we happy when we were selected.
Below is a picture taken of me, Madi, and Lucy @ 2 months old
in Uncle G's living room.
As you can see from this picture, taken on May 31, 2002
Mom put me to work folding laundry
Which turned out to be a very exhausting chore.
At 3 months of age, I demanded a proper bed, royal blue, for the Diva I was about to become
Often I had to take charge of my foodables by pointing out
exactly what my taste buds required and not a bit shy about stating my likes and dislikes.
Caption: What do you mean I'm not supposed to be in the fridge?
Here I am at 6.5 months old and have nearly doubled in size
and Cat-i-tude. I've been a counter surfer from day one!
This is our old kitchen w/o much counter space but that didn't matter to me. It was my job to snoopervise all food prep. Mom just had to move to the other side of the sink to slice, dice and chop.
Fast forward...I'm 9 months old. I'm trying without much success, to get my Aunt Cali, my human sister's kitty, to acknowledge my cute fact of 100. By the time I arrived took over the house, Dowager Cali was dealing with lots of health issues. She didn't live with us but she spent lots of weekends with us. She liked me ok as long as I didn't get in her face or try to critique her use of the litter box. I was curious about her methods!! MOL
Another picture of our old kitchen (I was 5 years old)...which I actually thought the best kitchen ever. I could rocket from the counter up to the tops of the cabinets. All the cabinets connected around the kitchen. I loved walking around them. It was a built in cat walk....But woe with me in 2006 the peeps decided to have the the entire kitchen demolished. It wasn't all bad though I stayed with my grandpeeps for a month. Mom said I was very confused when I jumped on the counter only to find the new cabinets were different heights and too high.
Mom prepared this collage of some of her favorite pictures since we've been blogging 3 years ago.
Last but not least, please remember to get your party treat bag labelled, Feline/K9. If you cannot read, the felines get one with a red ribbon, K9s one with an orange ribbon. If you don't yet know your colors, well you'll just have to sniff until something appeals to you.
MOL
Thank you all for being my friend, for welcoming us into your
feline and K9 hearts. You are all like family and we love you lots.
Hugs
Madi and Mom
