Fine Friday Fingers

First of all this series of photos were taken last weekend.  My peeps only subscribe to the newspaper on the weekends AND I always enjoy sitting on it!!

THURSDAY THINGS

You would think after 13 years of living with a crazy woman I 

would learn to never leave her alone for too long.

Last Saturday I took a nap.  When I went kitchen I noticed

this crazy thing on the window shade....

I MOL'd... Mom come quick there is an alien on the shade.

As I watched with trepidation (there she goes with the $5.00 words), she slowly raised the shade 

Lo and behold it was the shadow of the new window mounted

hummingbird feeder.  From April until late September

mom is 100% about the comfort and care of the Ruby-throated

hummingbirds.  She has one hanging feeder but wanted

another.  Years ago she had a window mounted one but the ants found it.  The clear plastic stays mounted to the window, the outer edge of it has an ant moat to keep them from getting to the sugar water.  The sugar water container lifts out making it 

easy to clean and add fresh water.

Sometimes dad and I think she loves the hummers more than us!?

Work Wednesday

My buddy Sarge is a hard working K9...

so he decided to start a series called Work Wednesday.

I had no idea how much work goes on around me!!

Boy Sarge this new 'day' of yours has opened my eyes!!

Last Friday our neighbors had 87 a bunch of giant pines

removed from their front yard...

Thankfully most of the equipment was across the street

so I was able to snoopervise 

the men at work

 they get an A+ for a job well done and for 

not hitting our mailbox post.  What you cannot see below

is a bobCAT with a mouth full of limbs turning near our mailbox

LAST AND BY NO MEANS LEAST MOM DID A VERY HAPPY HUMMINGBIRD ARRIVAL DAY DANCE ON 4/9/15. THE LITTLE JEWELS ARRIVED EXACTLY THE SAME DAY THIS YEAR AS LAST AND THEY WERE HUNGRY

THOSE LITTLE JEWELS WORK VERY HARD  

 THEY JUST FLEW IN FROM WAY DOWN SOUTH

MOM IS ALL EXCITED ABOUT FEEDING THEM THIS YEAR

WE'VE ALREADY SPOTTED 3.  

SHE IS TRYING TO FIND ANOTHER PURRFECT SPOT TO SET UP 

ANOTHER FEEDER

MOM WILL BE WORKING REALLY HARD ALL SUMMER

TO KEEP THEM FED TOO!!

TUESDAY TALE OF Real Estate

Friends this morning I'm here to tell you a tale

of Real Estate  Once upon at time, many many moons ago, mom bought and ASSEMBLED

(boy was that a sight, no pictures 'cause it took both hands and a few HBO words) this hut for me.

I repaid her by going in it a few times.

Then it was moved to a corner in the family room.

During a recent insane moment of spring cleaning,

mom vacuumed off the cob webs,threw

in a few toys and

 moved it beside my food and water

and OMCs I'm using it again!!

You know I'm a senior kitty, so it is nice to have things near.  

Real estate is all about: 

location location location

All things considered, I'm very happy with the 

new arrangements.

Now if I could just convince her to move my litter box to Madi's Space!!.

She says my litter box will remain where it is...upstairs!!

1. I, MADI, AM SOUTHPAW (LEFTIE).  What is a kitty to do, when there are
just a few pieces of kibble left in the back of her dish?  Well I'll tell you..she
reaches in with her left paw to scoop it out.

2. Madi:When I'm not getting my beauty rest I walk around the house making
all kinds of cute noises and meows.  Mom says there must be some Siamese in my DNAs. 

3. Mom is very very very good a talking back to me.  She took a few lessons
from Rosette Stone

4. Madi I get my 'buns of steel' from my stair master. There are 14 stairs
 to my upper chambers

5. Madi I RECENTLY APPLIED FOR AND GOT MY PASSPORT.
