Disgust, Demerits, Delights and Demons

DOG DAD IS GOING TO TRY TO FIX IT. UNTIL THEN SHE IS OUT OF SERVICE. SHE HAS A 13" NOTEBOOK FOR EMERGENCIES.

NOW FOR THE SCHEDULED COMPLAINT SESSION.

When I'm disgusted I sleep, and trust me when I say I'm disgusted!!

 Nope it isn't because of these delightful flowers and plants

I like looking at them on my deck

  

 The root of my disgust lies in the demons below.

Mom has become infatuated with a pair of chipmunks

who are living in our yard.  (The squirrels just had to get in the picture.  I tried to tell them it was NOT about them.... but you know how squirrels can be...)

 It is as dry as the Mojave Desert in Raleigh. Mom keeps the regular bird bath full of water for everyone.  She began to

worry about the Chip and Dale being thirsty and having no way to

get water in the tall bird bath.  She made Chip and Dale a mini watering hole out of the bottom of another birdbath.

She used two bricks to make them steps up to the water. 

I wish you could have heard her glee the first time

Chip and Dale discovered their own personal watering hole.

Shhhhhh....I must admit they do look pretty darn cute standing on their hind legs taking a sip. Thus far we haven't seen them use the brick staircase but they come to our yard every day.  The watering hole is under a tree and even the smaller birds are using it.  We also have a pair of jack rabbits who are welcomed to use this watering hole.  FYI:  I've decided to forego demerits just this time.

I'VE BEEN TAGGED

Mom and I want to thank HH and her gang at Max the Quilt Cat for tagging us last week.  This was a fun post.

 The new kitties Knuckles and Bugsy at Max the Quilt Cat are so funny and into everything.  Their Human, HH, had to make lots of changes in her home when those two came to live with her.  Drop by some time to say hi to the bunch.  HH is a very, very creative (artistically and a writer).  She is a big support of Brevard County, Florida, Animal Shelter.  Each week she post picutres of kitties and puppies looking for homes.

Now Madi will answer the 6 questions.  

1. Do you think you are hot?

Yes, I'm hot, my city has lots of humidity but I have no humility. MOL

2. Upload the wallpaper you are using at the moment

I don't have thumbs and my (un) able assistant isn't sure how to upload our wallpaper. 

But it is a beautiful fall scene.

3. When was the last time you ate Chicken

Last week and it was yummy Fancy Feast Chopped Chicken....which mom bought by accident.

You see, she divides out my Classic FF can in 6 sections.  I get one in the am and one in the pm.  Much to my dismay one can will last 3 days. Mom cannot divide the chopped FF so I got 1/2 can in the am and 1/2 can in the PM!!  FYI, I'm a full figured kitty and mom is trying to keep me from getting fuller.  Mom here:  Madi also gets 1/3 cup of Purina One.

4. What song(s) have you listen to most recently
Mom singing, "No Madi you cannot have supper at 3 pm"!!

5. What were you thinking when you were doing this?

I'll  be catwoman if there is food at the end of the string. 

6. Do you have nicknames

Yes, my given name is Madison; however, no one calls me Madison...but as long as they call me to dinner I don't care what the call me.  Here are a few of my names, Madi, Mads, The Diva, Pumpkin, Poodle face, Baby Girl, Hello Kitty (this is a new one), Sugar Plum and DIP-C,(Diva Island Princess Cat).

Mom and I have a very hard time tagging our friends we REALLY want to tag each and every furend.  This was a fun game and a good way to get to know everyone so rather than tag just 8 furends we'd like to invite everyone of you who want to play to consider yourself tagged
and we hope you will play along.

SO ANYWAY TODAY WE ARE REPOSTING THIS POST THAT AIRED FOR THE FIRST TIME ON JUNE 23, 2009. During the first few days of our blog Mom didn't have any pictures of me...Imagine that??!! This is our first post featuring a picture of The Diva!! OUR FIRST FEW POSTS WERE A GROUP EFFORT...See below!!  We are having such fun and love all of our blogging friends.  *********************************************************************
Hi its me Madi aka Diva cat smiling at you!!!

I'm sending a great big shout out to cyber fur-friends, Buddy, (Sassy and Zack are mia) Raider, Gizzie and Jack to thank them for the heads up on the blog Mom started using my name. If not for y'all I'd never have known. Being the diva cat that I am takes most of time and energy. As you can see from my picture, it takes a lot to keep me in the lifestyle I require. I have my own water fresh water fountain, a very large shiny floor to rest on which also serves as an instant a/c for my tummy. I have two food dishes...yes a diva cat has two dishes, one for dry food and one for Fancy Feast....I don't like my food touching. The most important thing in the picture is my BOX. It may look like a plain cardboard box to you but it is not. It is very special...you see when I'm in that box I'm invisible. I can see out my window but NO ONE, not even Mommy, can find me. I look forward to speaking to you all as often as time permits...until the next Meow I wish y'all a full tummy and lots of fun days.
