Thank you all for your thoughts about my brother-in-law's

surgery.  I am thankful to say the surgery went well.

Text from his wife yesterday morning said he took 2 loops around the hall outside his room. 

He will be in the hospital for 7-10 days.   He will be using a feeding tube for 6-8 weeks.  He has along tedious recovery of 2-3 months.

 We learned 2 new words today: autogrooming & allogrooming.  We thought we were just licking ourselves and each other. Who knew!?!😹

Ohhhh, that’s nice, Kat! Where did you learn to do that? 

Mom wonders which we enjoy more; doing the allogrooming, or being allogroomed.  What do you think? 😻

June 27, 2009, 13 years ago today, was the very first blog post featuring Madi.  She had high standards.  I worked very hard to live up to her expectations.
