Sammy my dear friend. I read all about your love of Christmas.
So today I would like to take you on a magical trip to one of my peeps favorite places to
visit at Christmas, Grove Park Inn, Asheville, NC
We are going to have breakfast in the lovely Blue Ridge Room overlooking the
mountains. I called ahead to tell them you are King of Baconia...they promised to have
lots of crispy bacon waiting for you. This delightful group
insisted on a photo shoot and a Ginger ManCat polydactyl autograph.
There are tons of beautiful Christmas trees
This is the Dr. Seuss theme Tree it is a favorite of Blogville.
Lucky us to stumble upon the Ginger Bread House judging and you were given a seat of honor my Santa Paws..
After a busy day of fun, food and frolicking, we are relaxing by the fire to enjoy very lovely
Christmas memories and magic

MOM HAS to work until very late
on Thursday and Early on Friday. She could not get her post up until after 6PM today so we suggested she post it with ours... here is what she wrote to you Sammy!!

MADI'S momma helped our momma get this done in time. We are showing Sammy a little piece
of Southeast Iowa that we also showed Pip and Puddles when they visited.
It is a civil war cannon, that is across the street from our house, and facing our house.
Does that make our mom nervous................no........as long as we stay on our side of the
street......

Madi you probably will get the golden air ballon badge today. That was such a wonderful idea to offer Sammy a ride in your train around the christmas tree...and you celebrated an early but so special christmas with him... BRAVO! and THANKS!!!

Making Christmas memories with my BFFF -what could be better than that? My thanks also to Three Little Pugs! I've never been to Iowa so this is a BIG treat. Thanks for showing me the Civil War cannon...my Dad will enjoy that photo as he's a big Civil War fan. THANK YOU ALL for a wonderful trip - I will always remember it - AND you!

Your landmark is so much more elegant for Sammy's visit than ours, but since cats enjoy a good clubhouse inhabited by spiders and bugs, we're glad Rusty thought of it. We're sure your tour was fun.
