CAT STUMP

Recently Mom moved my 'cat stump', (it is too short to meet requirements for a cat tree,) from the side
window in their bedroom to the front window.
This was a good move..the other window was boring. I was
delighted to check out the new location

once it had the Madi sniff of approval I decided
to see what I could see from atop the 'cat stump'
first I had to be sure what I was smelling was essence of Madi
There is a great view of the cul-de-sac over left shoulder
 from the right
and it appears the 'cat stump' is in a good location
for napping....or maybe I'll hop over to the chair
that looks comfy too!!
GOOD MOVE MOM...AS YOU MIGHT REMEMBER
MOM CALLS CHANGES LIKE THIS FOR
MADI ENRICHMENT.

  1. I think it's great that your mom is always mixing things up for you Madi. What a great place to have your stump so you can see out the window.

  2. My cat stump is the couch in front of the front window. I wonder if I could fit on your stump.

  10. Gosh, I wish I had a dog stump and a human that was so attentive to enrichment opportunities....
    Toodle pip!
    Bertie.

PS from Gail: WHAT ARE YOU SAYING BERTIE. AS IF I DON'T SPEND JUST ABOUT EVERY SPARE HOUR FINDING EXCITING PLACES TO TAKE YOU FOR WALKS, GOING TO AGILITY CLUB WITH YOU, TAKING YOU ON THE TRAIN DOWN TO NOTTINGHAM ETC ETC. AND YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY OF AN EXCELLENT VANTAGE POINT LOOKING OUT OF THE FRONT WINDOW AND ON TO THE STREET FROM THE BACK OF THE SOFA, THE PLACE WHERE HAMISH USED TO SIT HAPPILY FOR HOURS, ONLY YOU NEVER SEEM TO LIKE PERCHING UP THERE....

PPS from Bertie. OK. I think Gail does need a holiday.

  12. We think that was a very smart idea to move the stump around. I think that it will keep you from getting too bored. (Not like we're bored or anything, but I didn't want your Mom to feel bad.) You know, let them feel like they did something good every one in a while....

You will have to show us some pictures out your new window so we too can enjoy the new view.

    Hugs,

  20. love this picture story... and the funny thing is, I had to place a chair in front of the window in the living room to BLOCK baby from seeing out, she was tearing up the blinds.... cats are so much easier to care for... and i bet you dont bark at the mail man either.
