GOOD MORNING ALL!!!
OK HERE IS THE DEAL...
Mom's 'puter is 7 years old and as she says it has been a good one up until about 2 weeks ago when she found out it was running on 25% memory (kind of like she is, MOL). CAN YOU ALL SAY
SLOW
So anyway it prompted her to get a move on something she had planned to do later. Mom took my G-pa's 4 year old computer to see the Geek Squad for a check up and thorough cleaning. Gpa did not have a virus protection on it. YAY Geek Squad they added a virus protection, updated MSword, Picasa, flashy box software and several other things. Originally mom was going to try to set up the new 'puter here; however, since she is running on 25% memory she decided to let Geek Squad do that for her. They are coming out today at 1 pm to set up the new 'puter and transfer data from old faithful. Mom is anticipating a slight learning curve as she gets adjusted to the new 'puter. Hopefully we'll be back up and running by Thursday or Friday....BUT JUST IN CASE...
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY
I think all MOM's run on less than 100% memory. Hope the Geeks get ya all set up.

Our Mama runs on about 25% memory too but for some reason she always remembers the times we got in trouble. We hope all goes smoothly with the transition.

I think this is such a good idea, since if your going 'Windows', I've heard some not so nice things abouts Windows 8, so anything to keep the good old Windows 7 is a plus! Paws crossed everything goes smoothly, and Ma says it's a good thing you did this before you got the 'blue screen of Death'! At least you can transfer all your stuffs and not loose anythings! Yea!
