TUESDAY TALE: 2 Kinds of Thunder

Last Friday when Mom pre-posted this about a t-storm we did not know how very sick our sweet friend was.....
Thunder and his Woo sibs have made us LOL/MOL for many years...and we thank them.

TODAY WE DEDICATE THIS POST ABOUT THUNDER TO OUR FAVORITE
THUNDER DUNDER
SOFT, SWEET
HANDSOME AND PRECIOUS
RUN FREE
CHASE BUTTERFLIES, NAP IN SUN PUDDLES
and most of all roll in the mud puddles!
WITH LOVE
MADI AND MOM
*********************

LAST FRIDAY NIGHT I HEARD
LOTS OF RUMBLING, CLAPPING AND BANGING.  I WAS ON MY CAT TREE SNOOPERVISING DIN-DIN PREP.  THERE WAS A THUNDER BOOMER ON THE HORIZON.
A TREE IS NOT THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A STORM

SO I SAT BY WATER FOUNTAIN....I LOVE MY FOUNTAIN
THE BOOMING BECAME LOUDER.

LO AND BEHOLD THE BOTTOM LITERALLY FELL OUT OF THE SKY, THE NOISE WAS DEAFENING

BEING A CREATURE OF  SUPERIOR INTELLIGENCE
I SOUGHT SHELTER IN AN INTERIOR ROOM
WITH NO WINDOWS

MOM HERE: TRUE STORY.  I WAS ABLE TO CAPTURE MADI'S LOVE OF A T-STORM
WITH MY iPad.  She has two places she likes to
go during a storm.  The other one is 1/2 up the stairs...we call her a step-kitty.  I guess she thinks if the house floods she can run upstairs.

  2. We has the sads about Thunder. Our "thunder shower" today lasted about 3 minutes and there was not much movement from any of us! We think your hidey-holes for storms are good ones. Do they call them "fraidy holes" in NC? XOXO from your bestest mancat, Prancer Pie.

  4. It broke our hearts to hear about Thunder. We are sending lots of purrayers to his family.

Madi, you are wise to abandon your tree and seek a quieter place during those thunder boomers. We prefer under the nearest bed.

  24. Our mom says we don't get those thunder sounds too often here and that's just fine with us! But should that change, we'll take your advice to heart! We've sent purrs to Thunder's family. Taken much too soon :(

  25. Madi and Mom, such a lovely tribute to our special boy Thunder. He was misnamed as there was nothing thunderous about him, just a sweet, gentle soul who left us way too soon.

We are just overwhelmed by the beautiful emails and posts in honor of our dear Thunder. Our hearts are broken, but your kindness is helping us through this very difficult time. Thank you so much for your friendship and love.

Hugs and Woos - Mom, Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning

  28. I am sorry to hear about Thunder and have sent my purrs to his family.
I am like you and find a safe place from thunderstorms under the bed covers. Mum usually joins me because she doesn't like them either. Eric used to sit in the window and watch the lightning. He used to like watching fireworks in the distance too.

  29. We don't like storms much either, Madi. We're sorry about Thunder going to the Bridge. Purrs to his family...

  31. Hey there Madi. We don't know why, but your posting didn't pop up in our reader today. Actually, only about ten postings popped up in our reader today, we don't know what the reasoning is. *sigh* We are just devastated over the crossing of Thunder over the Rainbow Bridge. It is such a sad sad day for Blogville. We hope you enjoy thunderstorms a lot because I bet there will be a bunch of booms by you on Thursday!
