GREAT BIG FUN ANNOUNCEMENT

We are pleased to be posting a true story that Mom wrote in honor of a great big announcement at Murphy and Stanley's
 It will be called
“Fractured Fryday Hairy Tails” or FFHT for short

Run, trot, sashay or traipse over to the
to read all about this fun new event!!
The idea is to be given one sentence as a start then write a story.  Today's sentence to be included in the story is:
"I could not believe I actually touched"

It was October 1966, I was dressed for the night.   I waited excitedly at the front door for my ride, I could only imagine what the evening would bring.  Finally, I saw headlights coming down the street…I was out the door in a flash. We were off for a big night of who knows what.  We are excited because this was the first time any of us had ever done something so wild and crazy.  We arrived at the venue in just a few minutes.  As we cautiously walked toward our destination, high school gymnasium, we were giddy to see it had been transformed into Dracula’s castle.  The entrance had a sign La-bor-atory.    It was dark, cobwebs were blowing in our face, the Monster Mash was playing in the background..   We were told we’d have to do whatever the voices told us.  We proceeded down the line we heard all kinds of creepy voices and squeals and screams.  I was beginning to think I was going to be ok when all of a sudden a frigid hand grabbed my wrist.  In a nano second my hand was jammed into the most disgusting bowl contents unknown.  It was cold, wet and truly offensive.  I could not believe I actually touched monster brains aka spaghetti noodles soaking in ice water.
This is a true story from way back in the dark dark ages!!

In honor of this story here is a picture of me checking out Mom's spaghetti sauce
hopefully to be served over nice hot fresh spaghetti. MOL MOL

My good buddy Frankie has written a most wonderful sample story too.  Click here to visit Frankie
