We are going to show you two kinds of

birds

1. This most beautiful hawk. 

Mom isn't sure what kind of hawk.

It landed right beside our deck and

for once mom had the camera outside.

2. DA BIRD: 

n: no vertebrate, no head,no mouth

just feathers and an aggravating voice.

   It hangs form a stick controlled by mom

About once a week mom taunts me with it
'for the sake of exercise' 
She whirls it high and low and I
swat the living daylights out of it

then I pin it to the floor so I can bite its feathers

 It gets away mom starts whirling it like a crazy person
I swat it so fast it looks like I have extra front legs

 It starts stalking me so I show it......

Did I mention that it is the most aggravating

toy and we have a love/hate friendship

THURSDAY TALE: MOM DON'T 'LOW

WE HAVE TWO RULES HERE IN THE HOUSE

1. MOM DON'T 'LOW NO ONE TO STAY IN BED ONCE THE SUN IS UP

2.MOM WILL NOT LEAVE THE HOUSE WITH THE

BEDS UNMADE

 RECENTLY MOM CAME IN TO REMIND ME OF THE RULES

BUT I PAID HER NO MIND TURNED OFF MY EARS . BESIDES  IT WAS STILL DARK IN THE ROOM

2.   UNTIL MOM RAISED THE BLINDS 

DAD TOLD ME I'M LUCKY I'M THE ONLY

ONE IN THE HOUSE MOM WILL 'LOW TO STAY IN THE BED AFTER THE SUN IS UP AND SHE EVEN LEFT

She is a very very very x 100 talented artist.  Mom has admired her work for 

many years.  Several months ago mom commissioned a very special piece.  

As you can see there are 3 things mom loves in the 

piece ME, Dogwoods and Ruby-throat hummingbirds

I was so excited to sniff and admire it

I think Putter Jean left me some smell mail

 Oh my word mom Ramona even had glass

the exact color of my eyes

 Ok now it is officially marked and labeled

as Madi's

 Now for a close up.  I cannot begin to tell

you exactly how Ramona does this but I

do know she sketches the objects on 

wood cut by her hubby, aka The Keeper.  

She finds glass, dishes and beads to fill in the

sketch.  I am truly amazed by her work

she can create absolutely anything!!

I believe she finds most of her glass from dishes and glassware at yard sales.  She has a glass crusher 

too.  I sent her pictures of dogwoods, hummers and 

Madi...she created the design.

YES Ramona it is exactly what I had in mind

actually it is 200% better than what I had in mind

PUG Friends, Facts, Funnies

1. PUG FRIENDS

Recently my friends from Idaho Pug Ranch,

Mr. Bailey, Greta and Hazel,  won a 

prize.  When their prize arrived, it had a package

of Healthy Centers Salmon Flavor Bites for 

kitties.  OMCs what great buddies

they immediately thought

"I bet Madi would love these

SALMON Flavor Bites"

Mom says to pardon the blurry pic I was dancing with excitement!!

 OMCs they sent them to me.I want to say a great big 

Salmon is one of my favorite fishies!!!

What do Dogs Dream About?
With sleep patterns and brain activities similar to those of humans, snoozing dogs are probably envisioning familiar activities like playing outside or chasing their tails, suggests Psychology Today
Interestingly, small breeds tend to dream more than large ones.  Mom told me their Dachshund, Toto, used to run in his sleep.  I bet he was dreaming of chasing kitties. mOL
3. FUNNIES
Charlie Brown had a very interesting thought 
in the very same Reader's Digest.  Finally Mom has a clue about what causes sleepless nights.
"Sometimes you lie in bed at night and you don't have a single thing to worry about.  That always worries me!"
