tanned:  make or become brown

I hope

 and purr
 my gray furs
 don't turn brown 
from my sun puddle surfing

Oh my cats mom is an eager beaver we'll be joining 
I'd rather be birding

At 1 pm today, our time, 
It is our first time there.  Mom had some fantastic shore bird sightings last weekend.
