THEY ARE BACK

GIRLS AND BOYS I MISSED YOU ALL!!!

I don't know where you went but OMCs your PJs
and robe smell divine.  This mint green robe
is extra super duper soft...but I think some
kitty hairs are needed

MOL MOL MOL here is a note I thought you'd love
it is from my sitter to Mom!!
Usually the first day Ms Kathy comes I think it is the peeps
finally coming home so I rush to the door.  The second day
I let her who know just who is boss by not even letting her see me.
Mom emailed Ms Kathy to let her know they were home.
She told Ms Kathy, "Madi marches to the beat of her own drum"!
Ms Kathy told mom she saw me as she was leaving. I was
in the front bedroom looking out the window.  That is my lookout spot.  I saw her get out of the car and knew it wasn't my mom.
However when the peeps drove up I saw them and was waiting right by the door to give them a piece of my mind for LEAVING ME welcome them.

AND IF BEING ABANDONED FOR 87 HOURS THIS WEEK WASN'T BAD ENOUGH...
TODAY IS MY ANNUAL SENIOR WELLNESS EXAM.
I WILL BE SINGING THE BATTLE SONG OF MY PEOPLE
AT 1:00 PM!!

  4. Welcome back peeps. Madi, would we be right in observing that you also did not get a holiday present / memento from your peep's trip? What is with that?

We've got our paws crossed that your annual exam goes well today. In the words of our hero, William Wallace, "They may take your blood BUTT they will never take your catnip!" < we may have taken some poet licence there.

  6. What, your humans abandon you for days, and then moment they come home, they drag you to the vet? There is something wrong with that picture!

  16. Welcome home to Mom and Dad - we are SURE there must be something special for you inside their suitcase!!! If not, tell her to find something good in the cupboard.

Our little peeps often housesit for two kitties in their neighborhood. They stay in hiding too but when they come back later in the day, the food is gone:)

  18. OMC! That happened to me too. When I was abandoned for 16 days the peeps were only home one day and then I was stuffed in the PTU and hauled off to the vet. I hope your humans had a good time, but will be suitably sorry about your vet visit and make it up to you.

  19. Glad the peeps are home at long last. Imagine leaving you alone for all that time. Your sitter sounds very nice, but even so!

Not the dreaded the wellness exam ...you definitely deserve a very special treat or maybe 87 treats!

  22. Madi I can always tell when it's Mom coming home and I am waiting at the back door for her, so I understand that you know when your M & D are "in the house" too. We're very glad that they are home and we hope they had a great time. We also hope the wellness exam is swift and brief! MOL

  27. Well Madi if you are having a bad day why didn't you just stay in hiding till after your appointment time then come out and act like you didn't know they got home. Maybe Kathy could come back you think.

  29. Oh Madi, you've been HORRIBLY abused! I hope you get lots and LOTS of treats to make up for it!

  30. Hi Madi! Thanks for stopping by the boys' blog to check in. We see you were abandoned to your sitter! Yikes! There ought to be rules against that. We were only abandoned for two evenings in June for the human's work conference, but at some point she'll have to leave us for longer. Her step dad still is hanging on, down and up, up and down, a roller coaster of dementia and other health issues. Oy!

Anyway, we hope your wellness exam went well, no issues. Lots of purrs and peace from us.

  31. You are having a bad week. I hope all goes well at the vet and then you can enjoy your weekend. 87 hours without your folks is a long time.

  32. We're glad you survived your pawrents absence.
