See Beautiful on Flower Friday

Today I'm joining Dory for

And Sugar for

Here are a few flower photos mom took of Uncle G's flowers...
most are past prime blooming

The next 4  pictures are flowered quilted wall hangings by Aunty Karen
Not real of course but absolutely beautiful quilting

One of the beautiful floral centerpieces at Aunt Catherine's 100 bday lunch
Aunt Catherine is in the light green sweater, her brother Paul, who is 98, is sitting beside her

We saw lots of beautiful moments on 8/8/15 at Aunt Catherine's
100th Birthday celebration.  Uncle Paul her younger brother (he is 98)
holding her hand as.....

My Dad on the left, his brother Greg on the right with
Aunt Catherine.  Dad and Greg's mom, Margie, was Aunt Catherine's sister.

Last but not least a repeat (may be some haven't seen it)
of Quilted Madi by Aunty Karen
Just before my long tail starts is a tuft of real
Madi furs.  Aunty Karen is very talented
the little critters on the border are mice...their heads are buttons.

  22. Indeed...I remember the work of Madi and the quilting. Marvelous to have seen it again.
And the photo of your honey's aunt with her younger brother holding her hand will melt a heart of steel!!

I'm not sure by your comment that you left me if you read the part of the turtle being eaten alive [not the same turtle in my other photo]...but that kind of wildlife is a bit 'hard to take'.

  25. What talent! Those quilts are gorgeous. SHE tried to make quilts at one time. We have two wonky HAND SEWN quilts......that are warm....bwahaahaa! Good for Auntie Catherine. We hope she keeps on keepin' on!

SHE washed HER special scarf the other day. Put it in the washing machine with the 'dog-walking' jumper, and held her breath. Came up beautifully!!!! Almost dry....
