FLABBERGASTED: surprised greatly; astonished
Our of the clear blue sky mom was surprised greatly when she
went to the mailbox last Thursday. She had a package from our
furiend Ramona...in Mississippi.
Lo and behold when she opened it she saw this
lovely and handy caddy for her coloring books and pencils.
Hey Mom I think Putter Jean, Ramona's kitty, left me a bit of smell mail right here.
Ramona originally made herself a caddy for storing all her polymer clay instruments, then
she thought it would also work for her friends who color!!
Mom was one of the most lucky friends to receive one.
Mom was over the moon gleeful. She has two sets of pencils and 2 coloring books
One set of the pencils came in a most aggravating hard plastic container (below) that would not say open!! Mom tried to get me to sit on it to keep it open...
Now all the pencils are in one convenient place!!
Mom jumped on the Coloring band wagon in December when Sis and BIL gave her
a coloring book and pencils. In January mom's bestie, Anita, gave her the Wild
Kingdom coloring book for her birthday.
Ramona is a most talented friend. Her artistic skills are limitless.
A year or so ago Mom commissioned Ramona to make a mosaic of Moi and asked if
she could include dogwood flowers and a ruby-throated humming bird....

MOM TOOK A WALK ON SATURDAY. Look what she saw!!
She thought it was Princess Leah from across the Pond
Lo and behold it was a Princess Leah look a like her name is Princess.
Princess Leah you are correct your breed is absolutely the friendliest ever she was
trying her best to get to mom to say hi while Mom took her photo

ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift! I sent my sister a Harry Potter colouring book the other day, since she loves Harry Potter. Isn't it great how colouring is okay for adults now?

Princess really does look just like Princess Leah, so happy you have rolyalty in your neighbor hood, you still hold your DIVA title though. that is a really nifty pence holder... i have yet to see an adult coloring book in real life. i have seen them online but not LIVE.... or in a store. happy coloring..

ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to meet a Princess Leah lookalike - Princess is very pretty. We have a couple of King Charles Cavaliers in our neighborhood and they are all very nice.
ReplyDeleteMom is trying her human paws at coloring too, but she finds it very frustrating when she can't get the shading right. She needs to take lessons from Ms. Lynn at Sketching with Dogs.

ReplyDeleteMy mom gave Brian (my husband) a coloring book like this for Christmas - I kid you not. She read that coloring was good for stress reduction. So, now we color together as a family after dinner. LOL
OMD, PL??!!! Oh, wells, she is ALMOST as beautifuls as our PL! I bets she's as nice and she looks very cool! Do you thinks she likes margaritas or puppacinnos??
