....receive something just because?
Recently I did and OMCs it is such a super duper feeling to know you
are thought of by your friends just because.
Last week I received a "just because" package from
Phoebe and her siblings

During April they completed the A-Z book Challenge and lo and behold they sent us
"Making Rounds with Oscar", aka the O challenge, by Dr. David Dosa...

And their mom crochets the bestest cat toys filled with nip.
This book is a true story about Oscar tiny kitty who went to live at Steere House Nursing and Rehab Center in Rhode Island, Oscar grew into an extraordinary cat who could sense when the end of life was coming for residents. Oscar is very independent and makes his rounds daily. When he detects end of life, he stays with residents to comfort them until they pass.

The book is especially meaningful to me. My Mom was in a Reminiscence care facility the last 11 months of her life. There was a resident cat in her area named Remi(niscence) Oscar reminds me a lot of Remi. He was such a loving Tabby. He made rounds daily..deciding where/who he would spend the day with or sit beside on the couch.

It takes a special kind of critter to know when something like that is happening...sounds like a touching story.
