Tuesday Tour: Blog office

We'll friends it looks like we are about to have our 2nd Tuesday Tour.
I must admit I have baffled Mom about something.
I used to love to sit on the old carpet in my blog office while basking in the sun puddles.

I love sitting on the hardwood floors downstairs in my dining room.
This is just one of the gazillion pics of me sitting on the dining room hardwood.

I really like sitting around on the new carpet too

For some reason unbeknownst to me, Mom or Dad
I will not place my diva self directly on the new floor in my blog office.
I will walk in the office.  I will sit in my tunnel.
Since the new flooring has been installed, I will sit just outside the office on the carpet.
Mom remembered she had a sample of the new carpet so she
brought it into the blog office.  Now I will sit in there!!
Just not on the Armstrong wood like vinyl flooring.  Mom says it feels just like
hardwood and is not cold. She is clueless as to why I won't sit on it!
I won't even sit on the new flooring when my sun puddle is in there!!
So there you have folks Tour 2 is over nuttin' else in my blog office is new...just the floor.
If anyone has any ideas as to why I won't sit on the floor, you can leave them in the comments.

From atop an itty bitty sample of new carpet in my blog office it is
Madi signing off!!
PS mom says to tell you this new flooring is indestructible and easy peasy to clean it is also in
Dad's train room.

  1. Well, convenience for the humans does not necessarily mean comfort for you, Madi!

  2. maybe because it is new and it needs a while before it is YOURS? I don't like to sit on the grass or on the tiles... there has to be always a carpet ( best a red one for a superstar). I even did that at a show and the mama brought my doggy mat what I used to park my butt :o)

  3. I think some mystery in your life is good. And perhaps one day you will sleep on the other floor and the mystery becomes even more mysterious!

Hmmmm I suspect it just isn't sufficiently 'seasoned' yet; even vinyl needs wearing-in, right Madi??? Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  11. there is no one alive who knows what goes on in the mind of a CAT... I wonder if it has a different smell? and you don't want the smell on your furs... tell mom to get a bigger piece of carpet or a rug and each time the sun moves she can move it... MOL MOL

  12. Huh. Well, I like that floor but obviously there is something wrong with it if you won't go on it, Madi.

  13. We think maybe it's the smell of it. Was there adhesive used to attach it? That might be it. Purrhaps a nice big area rug will entice you to come closer to the sun spot.

  14. It is all looking beautiful. The flooring is so nice. Maybe you are detecting a different odor to the vinyl. Maybe a nice throw rug would suit your fancy.

  20. We're thinking maybe it smells funny to Madi, even though the humans might not notice it. When we got our new couches directly from the factory, they smelled terrible for about a week until they "gassed out." Yes, that's the real term they told us when we called to ask about it!

  21. Carpet is still more comfortable to any flooring. We have vinyl wood, too.
