Breaking news....
The Geek Squad will be here today sometime between 12-4 pm to set up better WiFi for us.
Currently we just have Netgear, it is upstairs by the computer tower. Evidently it is not strong enough to carry things downstairs. We are getting NightHawk AC2300 Netgear. It should have more
reception power so we can hear our Grace Digital Radio down stairs.
We might be off line for a bit today.

ReplyDeleteWe have an extender for our WiFi. Our Grace radio transmits through an FM receiver to all our radios but we're on one floor.

yay for new and better wifi… ours comes with our cable and home phone, I have the 100 mgp the fastest speed they sell because I am to impatient to deal with slow signals...

ReplyDeleteYes indeed, that Netgear Nighthawk will work so much better. We have one similar to it here and it works great on all three levels of the house and even when we have multiple PCs, iPads, phones going on at the same time. Good luck with the installation.
