Feline-day: My Grandkitties

Frisco  and Mia are my grandkitties.
During the fury of Florence they lost power for 4 1/2 days....it was HOT
Frisco was caught in a hangover while cooling his ginger undercarriage on the top of the porcelain
tank.   Like most Ginger's he is a big guy

Mia is an itty bitty Tortie with a Tort-i-tude as endless as outer space.
She rules the roost.  Her brother from another Mother
and her human peeps are wrapped around her tortie paw too.

  3. Hi you two, good to see you. Frisco, you are a big boy. Glad you made it through the storm all right.

  4. They are both lovely, but I particularly like big ginger boys! Frisco knew where to go to find a cool spot.

  5. Darling kitties! Frisco cracks me up and I love your description of him cooling his undercarriage! His face looks like he's saying Ahhhhh. Little Mia is darling in the shower! The built in foot rest is just her size! Those two kitties are so lucky... they will know love forever just as Angel Madi does.

  7. Mom said when she was young, all her dogs loved to wrap themselves around the base of the toilet. Sadly there is no bathroom within our gated area.

Mia, Misty wants to be sure you know that "girls rule and boys drool"!

  11. Oh my 4 1/2 days. That feels like an eternity in the heat. WE know. We've been there too. NO FUN at all. We are glad all is OK now. Gorgeous kitties.

  12. They don['t look too worried about a power outage....MOL! SHE used to have a tortie….a stray picked up at college, named Harriet.

  15. That is such a sexy pose Frisco's got going on there, and little miss Mia is absolutely adorable! Sorry dad's late in commenting. It's been a busy week here and he's just trying to catch up all 'round.

  18. The Grands are so furry cute! I, Marvelous have taken notes for most excellent ways of cooling down. I have written their solutions in my secret notebook and will use them next summer when the hots come back to Vancouver (Winter is settling in here).

  19. We recently learned that most orange tabbies are mancats like Frisco. We never realized that females are rare, because we have Pigeon!

  20. That's a long time to be in the hots...and steamy as all get out, I'm sure!
