Thoroughly Poetic Meow Like a Pirate

Today we join Two  SPOILED CATS
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.
Here is our photo challenge

His office is the deep dark sea.
He travels in the shadows of night by the tower light.
Looking for treasures and trinkets while
out of sight.
In the background you hear screeching from the
pirate's Parrot
 Cap'n my Cap'n
look starboard (right) and you will see a landlubber
who is lost at sea. What an addlepate (fool) he be
out here on the open sea.
Fair winds my friends
til we meet again.

Mom found a Pirate Dictionary on Google woohoo
We will attempt to meow like a Pirate
English word has a strike through.  Pirate talk is in bold italics beside it.

ARRRRG are you  ready?

I gladly admit to looking like  a fool addlepate in this
mask but you know when we do something we go all out

Shiver me timbers Mom Cap'n my Cap'n
has turned into a gun packing woman Wench
Yo-ho-ho seaman sea dogs there is  non-sailor landlubber
right side starboard

Never fear Wench Madi has them in her eyes deadlights

Sink me! (expression of surprise)  Look at the loot swag we found while looking through our telescope spyglass
Good bye Fair winds Matey, Buckos, Me hearties  and Wenches (all pirate talk for crew)
ARRRRG!
Grab a mug of Rum and be on ye way before me makes ye walk the gangplank
on this fine day.

I would like to add this addendum to my post

  18. Fabulous poem for Poetry Day! Very "piratized" and suitably terrifying....same with the pirate dictionary lesson which we needed as we don't always understand "Pirate" !! Madi truly was a mighty fine "wench"....a "much missed wench" indeed.

    Hugs, Teddy and Mom
