Feline and Nature Friday

My Grandkitties would like to wish their Dad, aka Angel Madi's favorite 

brother-in-law, a most happppppppy 48th Bday.

Nature Friday is hosted by my Niece Rosy and her brudders, Arty and Jakey

Furries and staff we had a real nature event on Tuesday

November 12, 2019.  We awoke to 53 degrees and rain.

By noonish the temps took a nosedive, Mother Nature and Old man winter collided. Mother Nature pitched a hissy fit with warm rain and wind. Old Man

Winter gave her a frosty shoulder,  by night fall it was freezing.

Predicted afternoon sun never arrived until it was time for it to set.

We had quite a show....

While we are talking about clouds.....

My nephew, Kat, sent me the below picture beautiful clouds

from their Wheelie House bedroom window in Nevada.

We had very very gusty winds last weekend.

Jitterbug

Dancers have great rhythm!
Movin' and groovin' to the tunes
They must practice their moves over and over.
He in the gym she in the studio
Cheek to cheek eyes locked on the other's
She must trust him as they bend and stretch
as he sweeps her off her feet.


Side story:
When I was a senior in high school, adult volunteers were needed.   My dad was an electrical contractor.   I volunteered Daddy to help with the lighting.  Daddy always had a good eye
for detail.  It was a magical night.
Little did I know, my parents and the other adult volunteers, would be asked to be chaperones at the Prom. When the music started, most of the kids didn't move.
The adults were the first on the floor...all about my parent's age.
Lo and behold they all started dancing the Jitterbug.
I had no idea my parents could move like that.

Today, 11/21, is Mom and Dad's 25th wedding anniversary.  💕

Pup and I are so very THANKFUL to be surrounded by their love and devotion

Mom says Dad still makes her blush. 😻

And Dad says Mom still makes him laugh. 😹

Sounds like the purr-fect combination for a successful relationship: love and laughter.

Happy Tuesday Tales: Pup and Kat

Dearest Aunty HiC

I’ve observed Mom and Pup have become much closer during our trip. Mom had a big hole in her heart after losing Sassy, Buddy, and Dakota.
Mom needed a doggo, and I understand.

She and Pup needed each other.

Fortunately, I showed up at just the right time, to help start the healing.

A few weeks after Sassy passed
Dakota and Buddy helped me learn to love dogs.
Pup is a very special dog he came with a heart full of love for everybuddy

Oh my stars Kat and Pup you 2  were meant to be loved by Mom. I am smiling! She has a heart the size of the Alaska! Precious photos and what a wonderful bonding  trip.

Our wheelie house is approximately 200 sq.ft. 🙀

I love the delicate edging around the marble top.

It was my Mother-in-law's.  Age unknown but if i had to 

guess I'd say 90+ years.

The items on top were gifts to me from various

students at NCSU
