Happy Tuesday Tale

Hosted by Comedy Plus

This is my happy Tuesday collage.

Photos taken on Monday, May 24th.  I wash my EVOO dispenser before I refill it.
Left photo:  After I filled it,I noticed how pretty it looked with the sun shining thru the glass EVOO bottle and the plastic EVOO bottle.
Right photo:  The month of May was very dry.  Monday we had a 20% chance of rain.   I am happy to report not only did that 20% rain happen it was a real
"gutter washer".  I had to take a photo of it pouring out of the gutter.

I am thrilled to report we had 3/4" of much needed rain.

Here's hoping June will not be so very dry.

  5. YAY for rain! Sometimes we get tired of days and days of rain but really we remind ourselves how much the plants NEED it. Makes it easier to take!

  6. So happy you got some rain. Weather peeps have been teasing us with rain forecasts but it just seems to dance around us. We are in drought and need rain, currently on restricted water usage. Our rainy season should begin anytime, fingers crossed. Lovely picture of your EVOO bottles... isn't it just the best when we find joy in the little things. I would have probably been thrilled with that kitchen light hitting the bottles, too!

  9. on of my favorite sun touched things is a bottle in the sun and with colored bottles and oil it is even better. love that pic. we got almost 2 inches of rain on Sunday, none yesterday and THEY say we will get another gully washer today. we say gully here, because gutters don't work in FL, the only people with them are transplanted people from the North who think they will work. I did say to Bob yesterday, if we had a gutter with a down spout that ran into the pool, it would have filled it to the top.

  10. Very pretty and you had a great day of rain. We won't see rain until late fall or early winter. We're already in drought. Not good.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

  22. I LOVE the bottle photos, and the gutter! We sure could use rain here. The river is 6 feet lower now than it should be. We have had cool weather last week but little rain. Today it was over 100f! When it rains here, I think I will go out and stand in it! Thanks for your wonderful photos! And have a marvellously happy week!
