Today we join Two SPOILED CATS

Here is our inspirational photo is

I will write a thankful poem, the title is
'AY

It was absolutely wonderful to get many hugs 😍😘from our girl.
I must admit is was very cold, dreary and blustery day for a picnic, but our spirits
were warm.  We met at Bill Fay Park in Kinston, NC.  The facility was very nice.
There were 3 covered shelters.  The first shelter we saw was like a wind tunnel
with drizzle coming in all directions.  Then we saw a huge pavilion style shelter in a grove of trees which helped with the wind. Crazy weather for May 30 in NC
Normally it would be at least mid 80's.  LOL

Favorite BOL of Angel Madi had not seen his parents since December 26, 2019 either.   The theme for May 30 was 'divide and conquer' see both sets of parents
even though they had to take separate trips.  His parents don't travel anymore due to health issues.

  4. Such a totally fabulous - although COLD - reunion. I know the HUGS were warm and the time together was WARM so in spite of the chill, you shared some much needed together time. AND as if that wasn't enough you managed to work your fun into a wonderful poem for Poetry Thursday - that wasn't easy either - the "AY"s have it!!!!!!

  10. Clap clap clap! Well done and how great to be able to meet up again in person. I know the feeling. The last time I saw my sister it was January 1st 2020 and for my parents it is even longer since they saw her. We are keeping everything so crossed she will be able to come in a few weeks' time, so that we can hopefully write a similar poem (or story).

  11. We're so glad to hear you finally got to safely see your daughter. It's too bad the weather didn't cooperate but it sounds like you didn't let that dampen your spirits. We hope there will be more get togethers for all of you in the future.
