Thankful and Thoroughly Poetic Thursday #71

Thank you Brian for hosting
t

Today I am very thankful Angel Madi and I knew Jean, her angel kitties and Shoko and Tyebe.  I was very sorry to learn earlier this week that Jean had suffered a stroke. Jean worked lovingly to create the Crotchety Cougars. She gave our old girls a new lease on life with fun trips and even a cruise. They all had more fun than any felines should ever have. In fact, Angel Madi had a bigger social life than I did. I'll part by expressing my thoughts of Jean with the letters of her name,

Joyful

Enjoyed new recipes.

Always made me smile with her words

Never will I forget her kindness to all

With healing thoughts and prayers
Cecilia aka Mom to Angel Madi

Here is today's inspiration

This little one is a Diva in training.
Playing dress up in Mom's
Ruffles, frills and heels.
She squeals in delight
as she holds Mom's hand tight.

  4. Health is the one thing that you can't really change. One needs to be thankful for every healthy day you have as it can all change in an instant and there is often nothing you can do about it.

  7. I have never been a girly girl, but I did love to walk around in mothers shoes and wear her hats and gloves and carry her purses. I can see her purse from when I was about 3 years old, 1947, black and white tile squares, it was a clutch bag with zippered top. isn't it crazy what a photo can make us remember. did you notice the heels are AQUA?

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, my friend. Big hugs. ♥
