Today I am very thankful Angel Madi and I knew Jean, her angel kitties and Shoko and Tyebe. I was very sorry to learn earlier this week that Jean had suffered a stroke. Jean worked lovingly to create the Crotchety Cougars. She gave our old girls a new lease on life with fun trips and even a cruise. They all had more fun than any felines should ever have. In fact, Angel Madi had a bigger social life than I did. I'll part by expressing my thoughts of Jean with the letters of her name,
With healing thoughts and prayers
Cecilia aka Mom to Angel Madi
Here is today's inspiration
That diva in training just made my morning!!!!
ReplyDeleteHope your friend, Jean, recovers fully!!
We wish Jean our very best. We loved her recipes too. Love that photo and your poem!

ReplyDeleteLOL... and all I could think is how those young bones would be getting deformed so early! Lovely tribute to Jean. YAM xx
Health is the one thing that you can't really change. One needs to be thankful for every healthy day you have as it can all change in an instant and there is often nothing you can do about it.
ReplyDeleteI hope she will recover from that stroke. Prayers for Jean. Love those chubby legs in the blue heels. Good job on the poem.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet picture and poem to go with it! Prayers for Jean and for Bill who, we're sure, is holding the household together.
ReplyDeleteI have never been a girly girl, but I did love to walk around in mothers shoes and wear her hats and gloves and carry her purses. I can see her purse from when I was about 3 years old, 1947, black and white tile squares, it was a clutch bag with zippered top. isn't it crazy what a photo can make us remember. did you notice the heels are AQUA?
ReplyDeleteI'll miss Jean too. So many wonderful folks that left hand prints/paw prints on our hearts.
ReplyDeleteLove the poem. Little ones love dress up.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, my friend. Big hugs. ♥
I didn't know this sweet family, but I am adding her to my prayer list. XX
ReplyDeleteWe didn't know Jean but it's sad whenever we lose a blogging friend. Our paws are crossed for her and her family. That is a cute poem for that adorable picture.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet poem for "Little Miss Priss" !! Bravo! We all are so sad about "our" Jean. She was a fabulous and fun blogger and we can only hope she will recover enough to be back with us again one day.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
