Happy Tuesday from Chilly Colorado

Thank you to our

Hostess Sandee at Comedy Plus

It’s a chilly morning here in southwest Colorado, & we had a dusting of snow overnight (May 5)

I’m not a fan of snow in May, so I’m laying low until it warms up! 😹
Do you see me?

We’re happy to announce that we have 3 broadtailed hummingbirds; 2 males & 1 female. Yes, the males have been fighting each other for the female, & she’s loving it❣️

What shall we name this jeweled beauty?

Brrrrrr & ❤️Rocky

Dearest Rocky
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Rocky you are the smartest kitty in the RV.
You found the purrfect spot to hide from OLD man Winter.
I love your cuddly blankie a lot.
The Lady broad tail is absolutely Pretty and I think that is a great name just like the song says.

  3. That's funny that they're having snow in colorado, and it should be time for Blackberry Winter here. But with this strange weather all we are having is cool weather and I'm still happy to have my hummingbirds.

  7. You really are a smart one! Why travel all that way to be cold, just snug up and keep warm. That is such a pretty hummer!

  8. Those hummers are probably thankful to have someplace to find food when it's so cold outside.

  9. I didn't know that hummers liked the colder temps! What a nice blankie to keep you warm, Rocky!

    1. Hummers are migrating back north. Some arrive while it’s still cold! Happy we’re here to feed them, & there are full-time campers who feed them until they migrate south.. 😻

  14. You're getting snow and we have to use the A/C as it's getting close to the 90s here. It would be nice if it could all even out.
