Awww Monday with my niece Cali

We thank our Hostess Sandee at Comedy Plus

Dearest Auntie HiC

I’ve been recovering well from my surgery, but Mom noticed what appeared to be excessive swelling this morning, so off to the vet we flew!
Vet tried to remove fluid, but not much there. He said some swelling is normal, but since I’m so tiny it does appear a bit excessive (in an attempt to make Mom not look like a worry wart)! ๐Ÿ˜น

Annnnyway, I’m feeling fine, eating & drinking well, & have no temp. I’m  on antibiotics (YUCK!), warm compresses, & isolated to bedroom again.
Not a bad setup, don’t you agree? ๐Ÿ˜บ

Dear  Niece Cali,

Auntie HiC 200% agrees with Mom's instincts.  She is da best cat mom EVER.

Cali every Princess needs to have breakfast served in bed and have entertainment close by.

With last Friday being the start of  a holiday  weekend, best to be 100% sure you are A OK.  By Monday you will be all feeling fine and be ready set to take charge of da brudders

  9. Dearest Cecilia,
Sweet Cali girl...! Our Spunky had an inflammation which turned out to be self inflicted. She was tagging on the stitches. Had to wear a cone and her belly got rubbed with healing ointment. She did lay on her belly for me to have that done. Such a sweet girl and all turned out well.
Cali will soon be on the mend and her special room is purrfect!
    Hugs,
    Mariette + Kitties

  10. I’m glad you are recovering from your surgery little one but yes, the swelling must have scared your Mom. Moms are like that, you are very lucky to be so loved sweet one. Good to know you are eating and drinking, and that you are taking antibiotics. You’ll be 100 percent in no time. Please give Mom a hug from me and please ask her to give you a big hug too. Yes, you’ve got an impressive setup you lucky kitty. To you and Mom, Happy Labor Day and Happy September.

  20. I hope Cali is much better by now. If a cat is eating, it's usually not too sick.

  21. Yes, our Moms have their instincts that are (sometimes unfortunately) usually right. You sure to look beautiful, and it's good to see you fell like eating and playing with your toy. Keep recouping, and hope to see you again soon. *wags* Lucy
