My friend, and former Coworker, Janice sent me

  5. Dearest Cecilia,
That is amazing to see them in Dixie!
We have too many trees for ever seeing the sky that way—let alone the Northern Lights.

  6. My problem is is I go to bed too early to ever even think about seeing the Northern Lights. I understand they've been visible here in Ohio a few nights when we actually have not had clouds in the sky. We're still in a very bad drought up here. And I feel so bad about everyone who lives in the Asheville area.

  7. Gorgeous! Love looking at the night sky. On full moon nights around 1am I go sit in our sittin' room and look at the stars and moon and feel such peace. This photo... peace and a smile.

  12. That sure was a spectacular night to see the lights. Unfortunately, there are too many trees to see the horizon from our house.

  15. I wonder how long we will be able to have Northern Lights in our area?

  16. Beautiful shot. They were visible in our area last week, but when a friend called to tell us, we were busy with some guests and missed the call. Xo

  19. If I'm being honest, I had no idea we were going to be able to see the northern lights from our house! I was standing in my kitchen with my husband getting some ideas of what we want to tell our cabinet painters Horsham, PA and my daughter ran in and showed us the pictures she took with her iphone camera. Long exposure really helped me see all the pretty colors. I hope we can see them again soon!

  20. Those are beautiful. I think I may have seen some here, too, but didn't know why the sky looked like that! This morning I did see that spectacular full moon, though!
