We had a bit of a rodeo here recently.

Apparently, a baby dragon (Mom said it was a little lizard) found its way into the house.
Mom was squealing because she feared for the lizard's life, while we courageously corralled the beast in the robot vac!

After much excitement, Mom was able to “herd” us into the powder room, capture the lizard under a bowl, & safely return it to the great outdoors!
It was fun while it lasted! 😹😹😹

ooh a lizard... a real one? we saw one once and we ran away... it looks like a mini dragon and we are sure it can spit fire... can it?

ReplyDeleteI've had to initiate several dragon rescues this year. My yard hunter/killers are effectively trying to do their job here.
ReplyDeleteThe three of you would love it here, they are a common sight in the yard and we do get them inside sometimes. I throw a wash cloth on them, so I can pick them up without harming the adorable creatures. Good job on the rescue to your Mom... the males do look just like dragons... yay for a day of excitment

Kat clearly content to settle down and let Rocky and Cali do the investigating/job. We love our tiny dragons here... very happy that your Mom scooped him up and "saved" him!

We do that here from time to time. We always make sure the lizard is returned to the great outdoors. I loved the video. That music was purrfect.

ReplyDeleteOh, wow, that does sound like so much fun! Last Saturday there was a mouse under the kitchen counter next to the stove (at least I think it was a mouse). Then I had to leave town on Sunday, so don't know what ever happened to it!
