 I might be obsessed with Great Blue Herons!! Shelley Lake on January 9, 2022.  It was chilly his neck was all tucked. I had no idea they hard such pretty golden eyes.

  4. Herons look so different with their necks tucked in. I most often see them flying over our neighbour's fish lake choosing their supper.

  6. Aren't those herons so beautiful and regal? Dad says he saw one on their way back from hiking at Dupont State Forest last weekend. Looks like you're gonna get some icy wet messes this weekend, Cecilia. Be careful out there!

  10. We're always happy if we find a GBH at one of our nearby ponds. They are always so regal looking. It's hard enough to bath a dog let alone a cat!

  11. Beautiful birds and it's a place I would just enjoy taking in. We bird watch here too.

    Love the bathing of a cat. That's spot on and I've never tried to bathe a cat.

  18. We LOVE herons! Ours is up the river by the open water! Mom and Cinnamon saw it yesterday! There were 4 huge eagles hanging around too! Mom wished she had a real camera with her. That Meme about baths made us all laugh out loud! It is PURRFECT!
